Amazon Fresh, Just Bright Whole Bean Coffee, Light Roast, 12 Oz

Amazon Fresh Just Bright Whole Bean Coffee cured me of a certain kind of coffee snobbery. I’ve subscribed to the usual high-end names—Intelligentsia, Stumptown, and plenty of others—and somewhere along the way I grew tired of the ritual. Too many beans arrived over-roasted, oily, expensive, and oddly joyless. Just Bright is not that. It is light, clean, low-acid, and easy to drink every day. The flavor is subtle without being thin, smooth without being dull, and mercifully free of that scorched, boutique-coffee heaviness. At some point, good coffee should simply be good coffee. This is. Get the coffee-snob monkey off your back and drink the good beans from Amazon.

These beans are our go-to for use our Café espresso machine. The roast is medium/light, and they are not oily (which can cause problems in espresso machines). The flavor is great! We make a lot of cappuccinos and americanos. The flavor compares to other popular artisan brands available in stores, but at a higher cost. These beans at this price—it’s a no brainer! We’ve been enjoying them daily for months and are relieved to find an affordable good quality whole bean option. (It’s also nice that they are delivered so quickly when we run out sooner than expected or need more in a pinch!)

This bean is great but also funky. Is is tough to dial in as a pour over to smooth it out. @JNVO thanks for your post. It helped a lot. This is a good coffee for the normal coffee drinker who is not all geeked out on flavor notes and wants the same type of cup every time. See JNVO review as is was well described. The coffee is not a light roast and so buyer beware. The beans are light in weight only. I measure my beans by the gram and so when I weigh out 27g of beans I need to use four scoops to one of any light roast coffee I buy. The coffee has a bright citrus taste but also is hallow and is difficult to dial in for a smoother taste. What I do like about the coffee is that it taste the same in an Aeropress, a cold brew, or a pour over. That helps when coffee for others or adding cream or cold foam to any beverage. I have not tried it as a chemex, espresso, french press, moka pot, percolator, drip or an OXO rapid brewer SOUP type method. Will update when I do. Also the bag was roasted and packaged around the end of January. Most use by dates on these bags of beans are a year from the roast date so the beans were about 60 days old. When I received them. So a 4 star rating for the consistency and the overall taste for the value of the coffee. Knocking off a star due to the bean not being a true light roast.

I've been looking for a solid daily driver for my morning brew, and this Amazon Fresh Just Bright Coffee delivers. It really is great coffee at a reasonable price. Whole Bean Freshness: Buying it in whole bean form makes a huge difference. The beans arrived well-sealed, and the aroma when grinding them is fantastic. Excellent Value: It’s hard to beat the price point for a 12 oz bag of specialty-grade beans. It holds its own against much more expensive boutique brands. Consistency: Every cup I've brewed has been consistent—bright, smooth, and exactly what I want in a light roast. One minor thing: Roast Depth: While it's labeled as a light roast, it leans just a tiny bit towards a medium-light. It’s perfect for me, but if you prefer an ultra-light "blonde" roast, this might be a shade darker than you expect. Overall, it’s a fantastic budget-friendly option for anyone who appreciates a bright, flavorful cup of coffee!

Its amazing that Amazon is able to supply such an excellent coffee bean for such a low price. I rate it as good as Lavazza coffee but Its a lot cheaper. Wherever they are getting it, I hope they don't run out. No acidity, decent flavor, consistent. What more can you ask for?

We found these beans to be just ok. VERY VERY oily. Good luck having them go through your espresso machine with the correct pressure. We had to dry these beans out for two weeks before we could even use them. Very bitter bc of the light roast. We ended up mixing these with a dark roast and that gave a very nice flavor and allowed to run through our espresso machine without pressure issues. Would be nice if these coffee roasters could have dry beans...

I find it almost impossible to find a true light roast in the US - and not easy to find a good coffee, full stop (I'm from Germany, where we have really good coffee!!). I used to order Tchibo, a German brand, but they folded their US operations due to the tariffs...Anyway, I had bought this Amazon brand coffee beans before and liked it - and I still do!! It's really good tasting coffee, and the price is very fair. I highly recommend for those of you who are looking for a nice, bright, light roast. Amazon, please keep selling this!!!

This is a good morning light roast. Purchased a small bag to try and now have the bigger bag on subscription. I like my coffee and use a higher dollar grinder and pour over coffee maker and this roast tastes great.
