I bought this unit to replace a broken earlier one and although there are differences between them it was sufficiently similar for me to jump right in and set up my lights as I wanted them. I admit that I use it in a fairly basic way so it isn't stretched but having read the instructions there would seem to be plenty of flexibility and will fit in nicely as I expand my light collection. It is easy to use at a gig and comes at a good price.If you haven't used DMX before then you have a learning curve finding out how to make it happen, which I won't go into here, but when you do it will all make sense. Great controller. Exceptional value for the price

Excellent value for the money. Easy to program. I have 3 channel and 7 channel LED Par cans and it handles both perfectly. I have no doubt that it would handle 16 channel DMX lights too.
