Maybelline New York Lash Sensational Curvitude Washable Mascara, Brownish Black, 0.33 Fluid Ounce

I was so excited to try this mascara. My friend was using it and her lashes looked fabulous! I opened the package and inserted the wand into the mascara tube so it would be ready to go in the morning. I opened the tube with great expectations and was promptly floored. What was this?!? The wand was bent at a complete right angle. I got a tissue and carefully tried to straighten the wand, to no avail. I’ve tried using the “right angle l wand” because I REALLY want to use this mascara. It’s too difficult, and I poke myself in the eye. <big sigh>. Not sure if I should try another tube or just give up.

I ordered Blackest Black Waterproof and was sent Washable. I had cataract surgery last year, and can no longer see close without readers. I didn't notice this error until I went to use the new mascara for the first time and could immediately notice the formula difference. Now I have to take time out of my day to return when it was their error and now I can't re-order because what if they mess up and send me the same washable crap?!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I like Maybelline mascara and use it most all the time. I loved the curvature of the brush and the mascara was easy to apply. I did find that I needed to apply more than one coat to get the desired look I wanted. It did not clump and it did provide a small amount of curl and even better curl with my eyelash curler. At the end of the day I did not have any running or have raccoon eyes like you get with some mascaras. It was easy to wash off with just simple soap and water. Very pleased with this mascara and will definitely buy again.

Mascara wasn't really a fluid and was more pasty like it was dried out. It caused a lot of flaking. Could barely use the wand as it was disfigured and bent in a strange direction. I have used this mascara before and there was something wrong with this tube. Perhaps this was a manufactured lot with defects and so that's why it was cheaper? Didn't open in time to return it since I had bought it so that I had a back up ready once my current tube ran out. Now I'm stuck paying for something that is defective.

I have used Maybelline Mascara for years and was looking for ease in just ordering online, but couldnt find the waterproof with the brush that I use, so I went ahead and ordered this version and when it showed up it wasnt waterproof. I must have gotten mixed up with what options I was selecting. I ended up giving them to my mom who uses the same but NOT waterproof and she is thoroughly enjoying them so in the end, great product, just not what I was looking for, for myself.

My lashes do not curl or grow upwards, they stick straight out so I must curl first. This is the ONLY mascara that does not remove the curl when I apply. Seems all others cause the curl to dissipate as soon as applying making my lashes again stick straight out. Only problem is you've got to really work at getting it all off even with wipes designed for waterproof removal, otherwise well worth it

The brush on this is so crooked, it's basically unusable. The quality of the mascara itself is nice if you can manage to straighten out the brush but every time I stick it in the tube, it comes out some new form of totally crooked

After only two uses the brush bent so much it is totally Not usable! This is the second time I purchase this product because the premise of it makes sense, and this is the second one I purchased. The design does not work. Don’t waste your money. The item is not returnable!

Hi, I ordered and received the product today, and I looked up for the batch code to check the manufacture date. Turns out it was made in 2016, and four years have passed since this product has been made. I see a problem with this, as this product is old old, low quality product, and I'd like to get a refund or exchange the mascara I got with a newer one.Or, please let me know when these mascaras were manufactured.

I have never had issues with Maybelline's Lash Sensational mascara before but the wand from this one was so flimsy that it developed a bend from being in the tube to the point of not being able to be useable without poking and eye out, and the product itself was so thick it could not distribute on the lash well. A waste of money, one use before wand was stored in tube and destroyed. Highly disappointed.

I have tried Dior, two faced , MAC and several others from high end cosmetic companies. Surprisingly, this “particular” mascara by Maybelline is fantastic. Wow!! Long full separated lashes. The brush is to die for. Cheaper here and more available than Walmart 😍

J aime la brosse mais je trouve le mascara peu volumisant et sec. Par contre la brosse est géniale pour attraper mes petits cils asiatiques ultrafins. Mais ne fonctione pas pour moi!

I heard so many good things about this mascara but I absolutely hate it! It clumps and makes myLashes look super gross with only one coat. Don’t recommend
