Sturdy and durable
The stool is very well made. Let me say the first one I received was returned because holes were not drilled on one side of the legs. The legs are steel so it’s not something I could do. Took a chance and ordered another one and it fine. Very simple to put together.

Sturdy Step Stool
I'm 5ft 2in and having a hard time reaching many things. I got this stool without reading all of the info ( just noticed the non slip feet and weight limit. Wasn't really thrilled I had to put it together. The directions were clear and easy to understand. Packages held all the parts , even an extra screw, bolts & nut included. Also included were Allen wrenches and an open ended wrench. Took me 20 minutes to put this together. Easy. Have used this daily with no trouble. I really like that it has a larger surface than my other plastic stool and again is non slip. Quick and simple, well worth the price. Very happy with this item

Not impressed - more shaky that I thought it would be, and doubt the 600lb rating
Assembled this item and a few observations...It is a little more wobbly side-to-side than I would have hoped...I am not going to say it is dangerously wobbly, but it definitely has a slight amount of back and forth side-to-side. I don't think it will cause issues necessarily, but it makes me question the overall quality and stability of it.When attaching the braces that go side-to-side, it was very hard getting the bolt assembly tight...once it was tightened as far as it could (it is a threaded female/male combination that can only be tightened so far), there was still play in the bolt...you could spin it with your finger. Check out the excellent video WineGirl posted, she shows it exactly. I am not sure, but this could be contributing to the side to side stability issue. I did manage to tighten it down as much as I can with some effort, but still having side to side wobble. WineGirl's suggestion of a washer might help, I am going to try it.I highly doubt it can hold 600lbs safely. When you feet are planted solidly in the middle of the pad, maybe. But I am 6'3" 215lbs...when testing it, I notice if I stand more towards the front edge of the pad (not even on my toes, just more so my feet are hanging over the edge a bit, there is noticeable flex in the pad on that edge. By flex, I mean deflection in the pad itself, not that the entire pad is moving as one piece, but the actual edge couple of inches of the pad is flexing. I can't imagine someone weighing 300lbs standing on the edge without it being at significant risk of cracking suddenly - and forget 600lbs, absolutely no way. And to be clear, I wasn't standing in some odd way that isn't realistic, very much was a position within a normal operating range of someone might use it...for example, how someone getting in or out of a bed might place their feet.I think this will be fine for lighter people who are physically capable, but if you are getting this for someone who either has physical impairments or is a bit heavier I would say pass on this one.I am actually contemplating seeking a refund. I expect better quality, better machined parts, and a sturdier product for something that people are using to step up on.

Very nice
I needed a step to reach thing in the kitchen cabinets but didn’t want a ladder, this little step is just what I needed and it comes in handy with the little people won’t to help in the kitchen but is not tall enough to reach the cabinets, they are as happy with this step as I am
