Just like the Girl Scout Cookie
This is almost an exact dupe for the famous Girl Scout Tag-A-Long cookies! I love that I now have an option for those cookies year round. The individually packed trays of 3 cookies make this an easy treat to grab on the go. Plus, the little display box feels fancy in my pantry :)

A lot of calories for an okay flavor
I'm not one to pass up a sweet treat, and I wouldn't turn my nose up at these if offered, but they're definitely not my favorite when it comes to cookies. I say 'cookies' because these are nothing at all like cake - they're quite crunchy and they do have a nice flavor.Unfortunately, it's brought down by two things. For one, a lot - and I mean, a LOT of oil. It's that type of frosting that just tastes like eating thick, sugary oil, straight up. At room temperature, the cream even melts like butter, making these a rather messy treat! We found they're way better refrigerated, certainly easier to eat.The other big negative is the caloric hit. Holy cow! For 3 rather small cookies, 310 calories is a lot. They're not that much bigger than your standard chocolate "cookies and cream" style sandwich cookie, but those are about 50 calories apiece. That means I could eat six of them for the same calorie count as just three of these. Ouch.

flavor is quite good, texture and nutrition just ok
If you like chocolate and peanut butter, then this is a great treat! I tasted those flavors very heavily with each bite and the peanut butter was even kind of creamy rather than hint o' peanut butter like some treats. I also liked that the treats came with three approximately 100 calorie cookies, so that this did not have to be quite such a decadent or naughty treat. As for where the treat could be improved, I think then name "filled by cake bites" makes one imagine a softer treat. The cookie is very crunchy and that is ok, but a cake filling would be very nice. The chocolate coating was extremely soft and prone to lightly melting even at somewhat typical room temperatures. I keep my house at 77 degrees and this morning the chocolate smeared all over my hands when I tried to eat the cookies. I also think that the nutrition/ingredients could be a bit healthier for a chocolate and peanut butter treat. Since I see palm oil (sourced where?) and margarine listed prominently, I am reminded to only eat these sparingly and not as regular exercise recovery food. Overall I still like these.

They're OKAY, not great
I thought these cake bites were pretty much the epitome of alright. They didn't have a crazy strong flavor, but the flavor they did have felt pretty artificial. They also honestly tasted fairly stale. The packaging was nice, I liked the display box as it made it easy to store, and the serving sizes were definitely what you would want from a product like this. But the unfortunate aspect really was the taste.

A solid sweet snack, could be better
Despite looking deadly, these are fortunately only mildly sweet in my opinion. The first thing you will notice when you pick one up is that it will start melting in your fingers immediately which means this will be pretty messy in warm weather or situations. They seem to melt pretty easily. Once you take a bite you are mostly going to be tasting the mildly sweet white chocolate. The inner cream filling that is pictured all over the package is not really noticable. The cookie in the inside is light and crunchy, similar to the outer part of an Oreo only not as pronounced in flavor. I like that it comes packaged in packets of 3 that are easy for travel. Overall I think the taste is pretty tame, which can be a good thing or a bad thing. It's not so sweet as to make you cringe. I do however think that if you are going to indulge in such a rich and decadent snack, you might as well have it bursting with flavor.

They are very sweet and the cookie inside is crunchy.
Filled by Cakebites - The Peanutter 8 ct. Display (Cookies & Cream)First impressions: Nice display box filled with individually wrapped cookies in groups of 3. The cookies are in a plastic tray that keeps them from being crushed. The cookies smell like cookies and cream, of course.Installation/setup: Open pack and eat.Final thoughts: The cookies themselves are kind of like half an Oreo completely covered in white cream and cookie crumbs. They are filled with the cream and coated with it, then like rolled in the cookie crumbs. They are very sweet and the cookie inside is crunchy. I like these and I’m glad I got them.⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

Taste Decent
The cookie and cream cake bites are okay. The flavor is good, but the texture tastes cheap.Flavor: 5/5The flavor of the cookie and cream is right on point. It tastes very good and is exactly what I expect cookies and cream to taste like.Texture: 3/5The cookie is not soft like a cake, so it doesn't resemble cake bites. It's more of a crumbly, airy cookie with a frosting center. The frosting is thick and tastes almost waxy. The cookie itself is crunchy and tasty. I just don't like the waxy texture of the frosting in the center.Cost: 2/5A total pack of 8 with 3 cookies per pack makes 24 total cookies. I just don't think it's worth 71 cents per cookie.Overall, the cookie itself is decent. It tastes good, but the frosting is a little too waxy for me. If the frosting were softer and creamier, then this would have been an excellent cookie. I'm also calling it a cookie because it is most definitely not a cake bite.
