Simple To Use and Effective
My wife was looking at having micro needling done but after looking online she decided that would have to be done by a salon for safety so when I saw this I thought it might be easy for a home user to do themselves so I ordered it hoping that was the case and it has surpassed expectations. On opening, this device comes with the main vacuum unit, a long vacuum hose, instructions and several attachments including the diamond heads of three different abrasions. My wife was a little concerned at first about trying this herself but managed to find a good online video showing a similar machine being self used so we set it up and she couldn't be happier. The actual machine looks to be well made and feels sturdy with a fairly quiet motor. There are only two controls the on / off switch and the vacuum control. To set the vacuum to the correct level for the type of skin there is a guide in the instructions and after reading I set this to 12. In order to see the vacuum level I placed the tip on my skin at which time the gauge showed the current level so it was then easy to adjust.Once the vacuum level has been set, it is a simple case of attaching an abrasive head with one of the small white cotton filters to the wand which in turn connects to the hose. There are several tips to choose from and again there is a guide in the instructions, my wife chose the wide 240 tip which seems to be the finest abrasion out of the 120, 180 and 240. The differently designed tips are made to be used on different areas of the face and body so be sure to read the instructions but the wide tip seems to be best for the larger areas of the face such as cheeks and jaw.My wife has been using this for two weeks now and since it is recommended to leave at least a week between applications she has only used it twice but already she can see a smoothness in her skin, fine lines haven't reduced yet but they do take several more applications according to the guides. She tells me that she found it very simple to use and without any pain at all. Obviously as time goes on we should see more and more improvements and will become more familiar with using the different heads.Overall, this is a terrific machine for home use and can be easily used on yourself in a mirror, it does require the use of lotions such as a good cleanser and moisturiser which will need to be purchased although most people will already have these at home but on the whole it comes as a complete package ready for use and much cheaper than going to a salon.Recommended.

A Professional & Powerful Piece Of Kit For At Home Facials
The media could not be loaded. I’m new to home microdermabrasion machines like this but the first thing I noticed is that it’s much bigger and heavier than I’d anticipated. It’s quite an impressive piece of kit, and a more cost-effective option for home use considering it’s the sort of thing you might see professionally used in a salon. In the box you get the machine itself, the clear tube, a user guide, filter dots of different sizes, and a box containing different wands and diamond ends that you use to exfoliate the skin. The information the brand provides is adequate to get you going if you’ve not used something like this before but there are also videos and guides online, which I looked at first just to get more acquainted with it first.Getting set up doesn’t take long once you know what you’re looking at. The machine is wired and has a regular UK 3-pin plug so you just plug that in to the mains electricity. The tube needs to be connected to the machine, then you connect the wand end. Next, select the exfoliating head (the bits that look like DIY nuts, and place a filter dot in before screwing it onto the wand. That’s it. You can put the wand into the hold on the machine to the right hand side to keep it in place when not in use.You get 9 different exfoliating ends. Each is metal and has a slightly different size and thickness around the head. For instance, you can use a much smaller one for more intricate areas like the side of the nose, a much wider one for body areas like knees and necks, or a middle-sized thick head one for the cheeks and forehead.Using the machine is very straightforward as it’s pretty much a two button affair once you’ve got your adaptors set up. There’s the on/off red button at the top. Once that’s turned on, you just select the power with the twist dial at the top. You can test it somewhere like your arm or palm of your hand and you’ll see the speed-dial type display indicate the suction power. The user guide gives suggestions of the power you might want for different body/face areas. It’s strange to use this when you’ve never tried anything like it before. As far as I can tell, a machine like this is like combining exfoliation with a pore vacuum, except the exfoliation is more hardcore and the suction power is far superior. It’s hard for me to tell if or how this is working for my skin but it’s still early days yet. I’ve gone gently and slowly so I don’t make a bad situation worse. The suction is very powerful, though I’m not fully sure if it really sucks out yuck from pores and dry skin, but we’ll see. It’s certainly a powerful motor, and it does have some noise to it when you turn it on, so it does the job it should. When I’ve focused on my nose, for instance, I’ve used greater suction and a smaller diamond head; there’ve been no changes to blocked pores and blackheads, but my skin afterwards does feel impressively smooth in a way I can’t get it with a regular exfoliating cream or by rubbing with a damp flannel. I think it reduced the appearance of some newer spots, but I can’t see any difference to old scars/marks from previous ones, at least not yet. I don’t know if it’s helping to smooth out fine lines but perhaps it needs more time. I think it might be helping with general appearance and maybe helping to brighten skin in areas I can get some redness and such, so I’m cautiously optimistic! The unit itself seems like good quality and I’ve no issues or complaints with mine. You get ample filters to keep you going for a while so the only thing I’ve needed are alcohol wipes, which I already have, just to clean the dermabrasion heads. It’s an exciting one to try out, and so far so good for me even with very gentle use. It takes a little time to get the hang of what heads to use and what strength to apply, I’ve found that practice and some online research really helps, and it’s quite fun to use. All in all, a very professional piece of kit!
