MARCYMWB-20100 Compact Folding Weight Bench with Rack

Assembly took a little while and instruction pictures are small but overall relatively simple. A lot of reviews complain about the seat length - I am 5"10 and sit comfortably, being careful to tuck myself under the barbell. There are also complaints about pinch points on the rack and I agree - but this is the only bench I have found that will hold a bar under 6". I use a 4" bar to save space which works perfectly with this rack, with a little extra care to ensure I don't pinch my hands when lowering the bar. Overall I am pleased with the quality, sturdiness and compactness of this product. My only improvement would be for the leg extension attachment to be a removable quick-release like the preacher curl is. If you have the space or a dedicated gym room then you don't need to buy a folding bench and will save money with none of the issues some have highlighted. If like me the folding design is a must, then I highly recommend this bench.

I am 5.10 and the seat is too small. When the seat is set to incline, your head hangs over the seat and your neck is laying on the edge. It is very uncomfortable and not safe.2. The leg developer is just too small to use. Also, it gets in the way when you are using the preacher chair. I just removed it.3. The Bar holder is a bit too close to each other. When loading/unloading the bar (6 and 7 ft) any more then 5-8kg on one side this will cause the bar to tip (be careful)4. When the seat is in an incline, and you're doing fly’s your hands/weight keep hitting the Bar holders.I think for the money you would be better off getting a good beach that will lock to 90 degrees and a Squat/bench press.

Good sturdy design, easy to construct. Does not some adjustment when using various excersises

Poor design. Nasty pinch point when bench pressing. The weight supports for bench pressing are set exactly at shoulder width making it really unsafe picking up and releasing the weights without pinching your hand. Also there's not a lot of padding on the bench itself and it feels a little cheap accordingly. l bought this to replace my old Gold's Gym bench as the bench was worn and split and thought this would be an upgrade.

Easy to assemble. Not full gym quality but ideal as part of a home gym setup.

Took a couple of hours. Needs 2 spanners for M10 nuts & bolts - open ended + ratchet or box, ideally, adjustable will take (a lot ?) longer. All the M10s have washers for each end, tho its not very clear on some diagrams.Step 5 - take a look at how the thing folds up (in instruction book) first, then check it does fold when you finish this step.Numbers on all the parts would help.In use -Getting used to it, rather different from my previous one. More comfort, particularly the covered rollers. Height adjustment on the hinged leg extension section would be good, but not essential
