I got these so that my starter could really bulk up, and I can't be 10000% sure but I really believe that these are the reason that my starter is as strong as it is, it will now over double in size in less that 6 hours depending on the temperature of my house, and produces a loaf every time. Are they the most sturdy? meh, but for the price?! You really can't beat it. They did what they came to do and all my happy customers that buy my sourdough have these little bad boys to thank.

I use these to cover mason jars when making milk or water kefir. They keep out any bugs or fruit flies but allow the yeasts in the air to work. They are easy to clean, just rinse them off and air dry. They will cover several size jars from small to wide mouth mason jars and kombucha jars. I don't know why some people say they are small. When placed over a wide mouth jar, they fit easily and cover the side of the jar. They must have gotten the wrong product.

This was advertised as being 3 to 4 inch in diameter. It is almost triple that! I tried to put it on a sourdough jar and it covered the entire jar and almost touched my counter possible impossible to see the jar through the cloth. Plus there’s no tightening along the jar since the opening itself is two times bigger than my jar diameter. Worthless.
