I love love LOVE this cane!! I have chronic knee pain from femoral anteversion, so sometimes standing and walking can be painful for me. This cane not only looks stunning (and comes in my favorite color!), but it's very comfortable for me to use and walk around in as someone who is 5'1", and the X tip is super-useful since it's self-standing and it provides more support. The magnetic foldability is a major plus too; there are some days I need it and other days I don't, so being able to simply fold and store in my backpack is such a time-saver! It's also really lightweight, so I don't have to worry about throwing my shoulder out when using it or hauling it around while it's folded up. There are only a few "nitpicky" things I want to address. They're absolutely not deal-breakers, but just useful to point out. (Constructive criticism, if you will.) First of all, if I wanted more than one tip (let's say I want two X-tips), there's no option for me to buy just the tip; I would have to buy another cane just to get another tip. (A smaller nitpick: Having a small pouch to store the other tip in would be very useful too.) The other thing is that I live in Pennsylvania, so ice is an issue that I have to look out for in the winter. There are multiple ice pick attachments on Amazon that you can put on canes, but those won't work on this cane because of the cane's square-ish body. Which means that I would have to buy a generic cane to use the ice pick attachment. Being able to buy the separate tips and having an ice pick designed for this cane would help immensely! One more smaller thing: I can't just put stickers on it since they won't stick to the material of the body. If you want to decorate it, you'll either have to find a creative way to make the stickers stay or decorate it completely differently. Overall, this cane was wonderfully and thoughtfully made, and is very useful for me to grab and put in my backpack when I need it, which made it a perfect starter cane for me. (Quick side note, the hole for the wrist strap is perfect for stuff like name tags and keychains too!)

I love this cane. I bought my first one years ago, and I have used it every day since then. I take it to dinner, I take it on the plane, I take it to the waterpark, I stash it under my wheelchair — this is MY cane. My cane was broken on a flight recently, which was shocking — this one folds down so compactly that I'm still confused about what trauma it must have undergone in the overhead compartment! I immediately ran to buy another from a drugstore (that appears to no longer collab with Michael Graves Design), and they were out. Rejecting the store-brand knock-offs, I went to another store. And another. I was so frantic when I saw that they were sold out here too that I emailed the MG help address (and got lovely reassurance that it was not gone forever!) This cane is well balanced, lightweight, and very easily collapsible. It looks sleek, and comes in a nice color. The 4-pronged tip is flexible, so it walks much more smoothly than the Hurry-cane. This does mean that it doesn't stand on its own as well after a year+ use, but I always just step on a prong and it is fully stable. The grip is the most comfortable that I've seen on any cane. That said, it maybe isn't made for such aggressive use as I put it through, and I layer on some tennis overgrip tape to put extra padding on it. Juuuuust in case, I have purchased a second one as "back-up." I'm not risking any supply chain issues in the future!

Very decent first cane. I don’t have many experiences with canes, this is the first one I’ve ever personally owned but I’ve used hospital quad canes prior to this purchase. I like that I can adjust the height and still fold it but I wish the magnet was stronger, I’ve had it snap open far too many times in various situations. Regardless of that fact, it’s fairly useful. Unfortunately, it doesn’t stand on its own with one of the tips, it does for maybe just a little bit but it eventually falls over. I’ve tried standing it up on various floorings, indoor and outdoor, no matter where I’m at, it just falls over. It feels flimsy but it hasn’t broke, it does make it a bit anxiety-inducing when walking with it, so it’s made me very conscious about leaning on it. The grip is fine, I feel like it’s comfortable enough for me to not feel sore but I think it could be more comfortable. I’d like it if they sold accessories to change the grip or to buy padding to put around it. The paint does chip and scratch fairly easily, in fact it was already chipped when I received it but I personally don’t mind it, it’s just something I’d like to note for people who would mind that fact. All-in-all, it’s a good starter cane for someone like me. I’m 5’8, my footwear ranges from flat sandals, to thick sneakers to thick Crocs and I’ve been able to walk just fine as someone who has multiple issues (spinal fusion, H-EDS, degenerative disc diseases, etc). It’s helped me out a lot, I feel more confident in walking, less scared about falls. The price also helped me feel a bit better about what I was getting as well.

I love this walking cane and get compliments on it frequently. The folding feature is handy, though the magnets don’t work great. I bought color matching Velcro and it works perfect for this (photo included). The cane is plenty sturdy enough, the finish is stylish, and I ended up buying a second in another color for our second car. It’s comfortable to use, the grip is great and has never hurt my hands. I’m 5’9” and 160 lbs and the sizing is great for me, the sizing feature is very easy to use. I consider wider this product great for the price and would buy it again if the need arose. It also comes with two tips which I love, The rubber on the tips work well and do not slide with use.

If this is what you're looking for ... a folding, well-made and well-designed cane ... don't hesitate to purchase the Michael Graves product. I can't imagine any other offerings that are as well thought out as this one. I'm not at all connected with the Michael Graves company, but I am a designer (WAS a designer; I'm retired now). Few products and companies give me as much satisfaction as the ones who send me a product that's exactly as described ... even better than described! Don't hesitate.

I like it, except the magnets need to be stronger or have a velcro strap, so the cane doesn't unfold easily.

This cane is awesome! I ordered and returned a cheaper cane because it felt so flimsy and would break if I leaned any significant weight on it. I don't have that feeling with the Michael Graves cane. The magnetic quick unfold is an absolute winner too! The 2 tip option is nice to have although I will stay with the 4-leg stand-alone tip. Height adjustment was easy and the color and feel of the cane was spot on. Another thing that factored into my decision was that Michael Graves is a quality engineered brand similar to Dyson. I recommended this cane to my siblings who are both facing knee replacements. This cane was well worth the extra money spent on it as apposed to the cheaper canes flooding Amazon. Definitely a "recommend to buy" item.

I was so excited for this cane! I saw that it had one awards and was designed by artist and disability advocate Michael Graves. But I have never been more disappointed in a product! When you fold it up, it doesn’t stay folded, the magnet isn’t strong enough to hold it. So you have to wrap your hand around it to keep it from opening nonstop. Also, it is very unsteady to use, which was a shock because I have two other really cheap folding canes that are much more stable and well-made. Shocking disappointment.

Good but highly priced

This cane is very well designed. The wide base allows it to stand upright when leaning it against something isn't desired (like at a buffet line or in a men's room) and the magnetic folding of the cane makes it easy and quick to fold up for airport security, and very quick to grab and go as it transforms back from it's folded form to a full cane with a quick shake.

Beautiful cane, very sleek. The Color is perfect. It folds neatly and has the option for self standing or not. At times it can be hard to pull it apart and it doesn’t stay together with the magnets.

Good cane, but the handle is hard and not at all cushioned. I have arthritis in my hands so found this cane uncomfortable to use.
