My main use is for Skype teleconference sessions. The sound quality is excellent and the mic does pick my voice up extremely well according to my business counterparts. This is also an excellent headset for language learning, because of the crispness in sound. Obviously, it is not for music listening and neither it should be. Also, with Windows 10, the device setup completed in about 5 seconds, which was very impressive. It is also very comfortable to wear. I did start to feel some mild pressure after over two hours of continuous use, but shifting it a bit made things better and I felt no discomfort afterwards. This is a big difference from headsets that hurt after a few minutes of use. The only thing that was a bit unexpected was that the seller shipped this unit without a tracking number. Something for them to consider in the future maybe? Review: Plantronics and Poly are the same company, reviews claming "fake" are incorrect. - These are great, I have tested the microphone and looked at the output waveform, and used them for both Zoom/Discord etc... as well as for Music. If you fold away the microphone and use them as "HiFi" headphones, these are better than some dedicated headphones I have owned.... they are comfortable, and have just the right weight to them... (come with a nice case too). If someone had driver issues with a standard USB audio device (as some have commented), I suggest that they look at their software not this Plantronics/Poly. You shouldn't need a driver to use this, perhaps for the buttons, but was immediately recognised when plugged into my Ubuntu system, shows up as follows:- ID 047f:c053 Plantronics, Inc. Some people have reported that the microphone is quiet, but I compared it to another Plantronics (blackwire 315.1) headset, and it is identical... clearly set up not to clip even if you speak loudly, but not excessively quiet IMO, I was able to get near to 0db output by speaking loudly.
