Perfect play mat for the new born. It s soft, plush, 2 sided and it is easy to clean. But felt it would have come with extra color options. Overall a good pick for the price.

As most of us are now aware, carpets in households with infants and babies have a higher chance to induce/activate asthma and other breathing problems for your babies, but we all want that extra cushion for our little ones, especially if and when they're crawling around the room. This mat helps give you that little piece of mind, since it's so soft and provides enough cushion where their little knees don't get all bruised from crawling around the hard floors. It's water resistant too, so that comes in handy when the little ones make a mess, either from spilling their drinks or when they throw up that milk, gives you enough time to grab a towel and clean it up without it being absorbed and getting nasty. It's also machine washable too, so after a couple accidents or once a week, you can toss it in the washer and get it nice and clean for your little ones to play and roll all over it again.

For the price of the mat I would say this is a good value, the design is just as nice in person as it looks in photos, and while its not the thickest one around this almost makes it easier to move around and wash, the best perk of all I would say is the bottom which thanks to its textured surface makes it a lifesaver in preventing your baby or anyone else from accidentally slipping the way you would with a rug with no rug pads.

I had been using random baby blankets when laying my 4 month old on the floor for tummy time. This mat is so much better since it doesn’t bunch up and provides some extra padding. I wish there was a bit more padding because I’m laying it on a hard floor, but it still does the trick. I like how it has non slip grippers on the back so it doesn’t slide around (my daughter loves to wiggle!). When she starts crawling, I know the shape will be perfect for our enclosure that we have. I’ve washed and dried this mat on low a few times and so far it’s held up great.

I’m happy with this. Most are very flimsy and don’t feel like they’d protect baby when they topple over. This however does, it’s thicker and doesn’t slide around. It’s well made too. Easy to toss in the washer when it gets dirty too.
