Similar styles of this made for men do not have the boning to keep the top from rolling down, otherwise the same. I buy these because they do work and they will not roll down like the ones made for men.

I really like these shaping shorts. I already have several shapers in various styles from the FeelinGirl brand, and I've been very happy with the quality of the fabric as well as the workmanship. They hold up very well over time (I do machine wash them, but I use cold water & a gentle cycle, followed by line drying only). Most of the shapers I have are the more rigidly constructed type with either a hook & eye closure, a zipper or both + zoned power mesh fabric. I wasn't really convinced these less structured shapers would have enough compression to really work for me, but because of my familiarity with brand, I didn't hesitate to order. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they do indeed shape very well. It is so nice not to have to deal with straps, hooks and zippers and no provision for restroom breaks is needed. I almost always wear a size 14, and very rarely need to go up to a size 16, maybe 1% of the time. I am also a bit apple shaped so I am used to going up one or two sizes when buying shapewear. The hip and waist measurements in the size chart indicated that I would be a size XL in this shaper. Since the fabric content has a high percentage of spandex, I went up to a size XXL to make sure I could get into it. I think that was the right choice for me, as it was a bit of a struggle to get into this one. I am not sure I would have been able to get into my regular size at all but I imagine this would not be the case for non-apples. Despite the snug fit, the shaper feels very comfortable once I have it on. I wore it all day yesterday, including during my long morning walk, some work in the garden and I had quite a few household chores to take care of. The shaper stayed in place with no problem and it provided medium to firm compression and very good support. I like the high waist as it comes right up to my bra band so there is no gap. It smooths my sides and back as well has helping to shape my abdomen. There is a stay at each side to ensure that the top doesn't roll or slip down. The cloud fabric feels strong but is not heavy and I don't feel too hot wearing the shaper. It has three layers everywhere except in the rear and seems very soft inside. The legs extend to about the mid-thigh and they also stay in place and the edges don't curl up even without the silicone bands that some shapers have. Since I'm not very big through the hips and rear + I sized up to accommodate my apple(y) shape, this shaper fits smoothly but doesn't provide much lift in that area. Which is okay with me as helping to shape my abdomen and waist are my main concern. The price seems very reasonable to me. I ordered this in black, and will be re-ordering in the beige. I'm very happy to have found this shorts-style shaper and will definitely be buying other styles from FeelinGirl.

Its a little struggle to get on not gonna lie, lol. It is comfortable once it's on but it doesn't hold your tummy in like I'd hoped. I had one similar to this one before but I had bought it in the mall and it held my tummy in alot better than this one. It also doesn't lift your butt. A little disappointed.

The control/compression level is high and flattering. My own qualm is that i wish the legs were shorter. Mini skirt, mini dress girlies this isn’t the short if you’re looking for that.

I'm 5'5" and approximately 160lbs, and I ordered a medium. I probably could have sized down, but I do prefer some comfort when wearing body shapers. The material is nice, thick and very soft. This one does not roll down due to the boning on each side of the top of the waste. It does give some lift to the buttocks area, so that was another nice bonus. The only thing I wish it had was a crotch flap that allowed you to access the restroom without having to take this whole thing off. I don't take away from the rating because of that. I generally try to provide reviews on products as they are, but hopefully the seller will consider the recommendation of there are future changes to the design. When its time to purchase another one, I will come check out this brand/seller first. I am very impressed and I reach for this tummy shaper before all others. I recently ordered a dress by the same brand. I can't wait until it comes in. I hope it is the same quality as this shapewear because I'm definitely sold on this brand!

This is my own personal opinion about this product! A fit well and compress well and the quality was good, but I had a strong allergic reaction to the material. I have a bad rash around the area this shape was, I received it on Saturday 4/13/24 and I washed it on Sunday 4/14/2024 and I wear it from Monday 4/15/25 all the way to 4/18/24 I stoped using this because I noticed the rash was getting worse and was burning really bad.I don’t usually do reviews like this but I really want to aware people when they buy clothes only double wash your products and check them, I founded mini wires all around this shape even around the feminine area.

This high-waisted body shaper was true to size for me. It is tough to get on, but that's normal for shapewear, and the tightness helps to pull you in in all the right places. It has pieces of boning (kind of like an underwire bra) at the top and outside of the waist area to help prevent it from rolling down when you sit down. I found that to be really helpful. So many other shapewear items I have will roll when I sit down and I have to constantly adjust. This one stays put.It sat about halfway down my thighs and went all the way up to the base of my bra, so that helps ensure you don't have the muffin top.The fabric on the butt is not quite as tight to contribute to a curvier look.Like other shapewear, the fabric has to be fairly thick to maintain the tension so it will add warmth and may not be the best option for summer, but if you're in AC or it's winter, the heat shouldn't be an issue and this would be a great option to smooth out your curves.
