A lovely pale oak colour. The delivery was quicker than anticipated (3 days). Packaging was slightly damaged and some of the metal drawer runners had slipped loose in the box and were rattling around. Luckily they did not damage the wood. The laminate is very thin and it is not the easiest of products to put together - just be very careful when handling as you build it that you do not damage the veneer. I did not use the supplied glue as experience in the past with glue supplied with self assembly furniture found these are usually poor quality and of insufficient quantity. I used good old Resin W wood glue. On the whole a good looking and sturdy product and would recommend it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great value for money! *by H***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 8 December 2012* Having spent many hours trying to find a reasonably priced coffee table I ordered this one. The table itself is exactly as described, and represents excellent value for money compared with the others on offer both on the Amazon website and in the stores (yes including the cheap DIY ones and the bigger department stores). It does not have that usual "veneer" finish, the wood is pretty substantial-looking, and the table itself makes a very attractive addition to my living room! I am advised by my partner that the assembly instructions were easy to follow, though he definitely would have preferred help as there are quite a lot of pieces and the table itself is heavy. Delivery from The Plasma Centre was promised within a week but the order actually arrived the next day - thankfully I was at home to take the delivery as there was no tracking or advice on delivery forthcoming from the courier company. I am delighted with my purchase and will definitely use this company again.
