Essential for a Mac eGPU set up
Got the 350W breakout box before having to stump for this one. Long story short—Macs don't like nVIDIA graphics cards much anymore. Had to replace a Geforce 1070 with a Radeon Vega 56, which uses much more power. Hence this purchase. It has worked pretty flawlessly with my Macbook Pro for a few months now. Davinci Resolve can just about harness its power for compute, but I'm hoping with OS/App updates the software will catch up to the hardware and take fuller advantage of its potential. Using it for editing, not so much for gaming so can't comment on that.

works with most powerful graphic cards
this model doesn't have a power switch (it will power up when the TB3 cable it's connected to a device)I've used it as a EGPU for a macbook pro 2018 , although Nvidia are yet not supported on mac , using bootcamp, in windows I can use the egpu without problems. the enclosure is not noisy at all and is well cooled, (but the Graphic card you'll install inside might be noisy) there is enough space for any full length card to be installed, and the power supply it's more than sufficient. BEWARE there is only a TB3 connector and nothing else.

Beware of the lack of power information
I ended up sending this back as it appeared not to power the graphics card properly. It comes with four power leads to connect to a graphics card - two x 2 way and two x six way. There is nothing in the documentation to tell you what they are, what they are for, or how to test if the unit might be faulty. Also it is very fiddly to get the card in and out. In my case I had to remove and then replace the power supply unit.It possibly was sent back unnecessarily, however the lack of information and support made me take the safe option and return it. It was replaced with a Razer equivalent which is much easier to work with, although that too has the same power supply arrangement.

Great box but smaller than advertised
Had this about a week and is working well. The description says it is 45x30x31 cm but that's the dimensions of the packaging! The product itself is actually approx 33x20x18. I managed to get a 30cm long Sapphire RX 64 card into it but it was a bit of a struggle. But it is working well with FCP and Blender, etc.

Works as advertised, very easy to install graphics card of choice
Works as advertised, very easy to install graphics card of choice and all up and working in 20 minutes or so. Could be made with better materials for the price, looks quite poor siting next to a Mac and a Blackmagic eGPU. Only one real complaint, it came with a mains lead for the wrong country!
