DS1200LD 5-Blade Height Adjusting Push Reel Mower

Lightweight, easy to assemble and use, nice wide cut, and a real looker. However, sad to say, one wheel was bent out of alignment - I presume as it was being shipped from China. The mower works well enough for my purposes, so I didn’t risk breaking it completely by messing with it.

I was really excited about purchasing this Mower. The first use it was good, cut the grass but did tend to get stuck in higher grass. Long story short, it worked only 4 times, on the 5th use the mower started tl get stuck in no matter what kind of grass I attempted to cut. It turns out that the wheel linkage to the blade is a very small piece and it snapped, rendering the mower pretty much useless and the warranty is only 30 days. I would strongly advise against this item. Very dissapointed and no attempt to help me was made by the manufacturer.

This mower is perfect for my golf green I made in my backyard. I was wondering how to cut it and read it cuts as low as 1/2 inch and it does. I used it the first time and it came out great. It’s easy to use and lightweight but solid. It looks like a golf club green that’s going to need a grooming in a couple of days. Hopefully my putting will improve!

This thing is great!!! I moved into my rental home about 2 weeks ago. My front yard was pretty high, and this cut it with some elbow grease. I went over shorter grass in the back and it was a breeze!!! Four stars instead of 5 because it doesn't cut the thicker weed type grass, and it gets sticks caught. But that is probably because it's this type of mower. i have never used one like this, so have nothing to compare. I pulled the thicker stuff by hand and my yard looks great. I also did 4 because when I debated between this and another I choose this because I felt the weaker height adjustments were better than the loudness of the other brand. I saw youTube of the other brand, but could find none of this. The height adjusters are thin like I knew, but this mower is noisy as well. No big deal. I love it. Great exercise, too. Many people stopped me saying they didn't know you could still buy these. Lol. One guy even gace me his yard guys info thinking I was not going to have good luck. They came over after and said my yard looked great. Such a great price to help the environment, and get some extra cardio while I do chores!

I've been using this on my St. Augustine grass. For what it is, it does a pretty decent job. I go over each spot twice to get a clean cut.Quick gotchas:- It's loud. Not as loud as a motor, but if you think this thing is quiet.. think again.- The net in the back is meant to catch the cut grass. It catches about 5% of what you cut. Prepare to rake the rest or use a leaf blower to clean up the cut blades of grass.- It stalls in thick and longer grass, especially at edges. I mean, it just won't turn.. no matter how hard you push or how strong you are.In short, this isn't meant for heavy duty.. but will do just fine for small and well maintained lawns.

Hard to push, will not cut dandelion weeds. I was not made aware of these problems until after purchasing & had to Google it to find out. Had to purchase weed wacker to do the job. Would return if hadn't already used it on part of yard with no weeds.

The mower is light enough to push with ease. Blades were sharp straight out of the box. I bought the clippings bag and it works pretty darn good too.Assembly instructions could be a little clearer.

This is not a lawn mower by any stretch of the imagination. It should be removed from amazon and a refund should be given to anyone who bought it for false advertising. It doesn’t have a cutting edge on the spinning blades it just guides the grass into them and pinches the grass off at the base on a fixed piece of metal with no cutting edge as well. I bought this for my very small lawn and while my son used it twice with no success, I just used it myself for the first time, only to see what a useless piece of crap it is.. don’t waste your money on this garbage, period.P. S. Ther is no way to sharpen the pinch edge, so trying to fix it is not possible as it would leave to big of a gap once sharpened to even shear the grass.

I have a small-ish yard and nowhere to store a gas lawnmower. I tried out this little demon and it worked (almsot) perfectly! I mowed yesterday and while there are some stragglers this morning (weeds), I'm still happy overall.

This mower is cheap because it's built badly. It started falling apart on first use. I was only staying someplace with a lawn for a few months, which is why I didn't return it. I had to hold it together with tape and glue to make it last. I threw what was left of it out after only 5 months.

It works perfect and good product quality. Only the assembly instructions is not clear, but you can still assemble it within 10 minutes.
