Good Jars But Not For Jam
These jars woukd be great, except I bought them for jam. They melt at temperatures over 150 degrees, so not good for jam, which is in the description. I needed this size for jam to put in gift tins, and ended up with a sticky mess. Since there is 50, I may use the rest to store something.

Not "Mason" jars
Based on the listing, I believed that these were true "Mason" jars: not necessarily that Brand, but the same design. That design includes a pressure seal flat cap, which is then covered by a screw-on lid.These have no pressure seal cap,-only a lid. While a true Mason jar lid will fit them, not all of the ones I have will hold pressure.I was hoping to use these to store small condiment preparations in the refrigerator-either homemade or store bought. If these were able to be pressure sealed, I would have greater confidence in the freshness of whatever they might hold. As delivered, they are nice little jars, but I am disappointed that I can't use them as intended.
