I was hoping for more butterfly pictures than bugs, so little disappointed but still a good book.

Lovely book with good selection of transfers . Am keen to try several. Uses metallic and variegated threads for effect .

i could find nothing that i liked in this book, or that i would want to sew. very disappointing.

Wow! What a beautiful book!.I loved it as soon as l opened the envelope, its quality and beautifully illustrated. It's would be amazing as a gift for any sewing or craft lover and they will love it.Its has everything you need, Gives you an introduction on Sally McCollin and and how she got the designs for this beautiful book and the stunning Motifs in the book.It has all the equipment detailed that you need to start each project and also details the which sewing stiches you need to know and how to do them, very detailed pictures and explanations if you don't know how to do the stitches too, so fabulous for the seasoned stitcher or a novice. It has clear pictures and detailed descriptions of what you need to do and also how to use the transferable iron on motifs of which there are 50 at the back of the book and all re-usable for up to 10 times which is fantastic!. It also gives you thread count and colours to help you on the way with your project so your not left wondering about any part of the process.There really helpful Hints and tips pages about the projects too to help you on your way. Its so lovely and all the pictures and illustrations are of a very high standard. l don't think anyone, be it buyer or if its for a gift would be disappointed with this beautiful book. There's so much detail and 50 iron on Motifs to keep you busy fantastic value for money extremely good value for amount of projects involved.So happy with this beautiful book and excited to start my first project, its just deciding which one! they are all so lovely!.

50 insect motifs providing a great resource for anyone who stitches. Choose a motif, transfer it to your design using the iron-on transfer sheet and stitch. You'll find 32 stitched samplers offering over 50 embroidered designs together with 32 reusable iron-on transfer sheets. There are notes on the stitches and threads used to create each of the motifs and guidance on all you need to create them. Project ideas have been suggested to get you started. The front of the book is in colour and shows the examples and thread keys clearly. The stitches used are shown as how-tos with clear photos. The transfer sheets are line drawings at the back of the book. Anyone who loves bugs, will love this.
