It’s wired to get high output. Until we get battery cells (safely) that can do higher output + capacity this only method to obtain 100w output. It charges 4x faster than most phones so it’s faster to charge this vs phone. Update: I was so impressed with this battery I bought two more and tore down the first one. Internals are high quality. Toshiba ICs and Eve 18650 cells. High quality shielding and good heat control. Charges 40-80% @ 70watts at ambient room temp. Output remains solid to MBP at 100w via MagSafe on a M3 Max. Amazing for the price and with the quality components used these should be solid for a year. The A*k*r components are not the same level by far and cheap components hence high failures. I am still testing this battery and putting it through a gauntlet and see how it performs. The biggest question is quality and lifetime. I have 3x of these similar from A*k*r who I have had replacements under warranty. I consider them junk and last less than 60-90 days. I am hoping this is better.
