Overpriced.
Didn't affect my skin, so I'm a little disappointed in the price.

A Nice Indulgence
My wife has never tried a Korean face mask before but had heard good things about Korean facials so was pleased to give this one a go.The mask comes in a black and white package - fairly understated. Once open the mask is in two parts: one to cover the upper part of the face - forehead, nose and cheeks, and a second part which goes around the chin and mouth. You need to remove them carefully from the packaging and blot them firmly into place. It can be a bit tricky the first time to get the right fit for your face so a mirror helps.Overall My wife found the parts a good fit, though she has large eyes and the fit there was a little snug. She found lying back and relaxing watching television was best as the slipperiness of the masks can make them move around if you are upright and moving. The masks had a wonderful, cool and rich feel on the face. At the end you are enjoined not to wash any residue remaining - as with many face masks - but to rub any remaining lotion into your skin. She has dryish, sensitive skin and frankly there was little left to rub in after the thirty minutes. Initially her skin was a bit shiny but she applied it before bed, and by the next morning the shininess had gone and her skin looked radiant and felt very smooth and soft.My wife liked this product very much and would probably buy it again. At £12 it is a bit expensive but would make a lovely, refreshing and relaxing little present for a friend or a nice occasional indulgence for one’s self.

Gives a temporary radiant glow and plumping but special occasions only due to price.
This hydrogel mask is good if preparing for an event you want to Give your face a boost and need to look your best. These are best for last minute smoothing, soothing and plumping as they do not suck the rubbish out your skin like clay masks do (and thus need to be done at least a week prior) these are ideal for the night before or preferably for longest lasting effect the morning of a day event or just before getting ready for an evening do for temporary glow and plumping without worrying about a healing crisis. To use you slide the sheets in their plastic wrapper out of the foil packet and peel off the jelly film and affix to your face, chill for 30 mins and reveal super soft hydrated and glowing skin. The temporary glow and softening is very apparent but is definitely only temporary and despite nothing on the packaging the website swears blind it's cruelty free.As someone with sensitive skin and eczema I've been a fan of South Korean beauty for some years now, and over the last couple of years the values, ingredients and approaches have seeped into Western beauty though of course at a premium compared to their origin where beauty is much more affordable largely due to the concentrated demand against much competition. The jelly takes some getting used to if you've not used it before, it's easy to fold it over on application and have to tidy up edges, it doesn't fit well around the nose (shame as that's an area that usually needs help) and if you've got a high or low forehead you're stuffed (hands up for the high foreheads!) but it's a better fit and a better result than the soaked fibre sheets.Would I buy it all the time? No it's far too expensive to be a weekly/fortnightly treat even though it works as a boost to the skin it's probably on par with a thoroughly good cleansing and decent serum followed by an oil but with less effort.would I buy it if I was feeling a bit low about my eczema or how my toddler is leaving me sleep deprived? probably not I'd invest in a product I'd get more than one use fromwould I buy it in advance of a special event? Maybe, I did prefer the results from the caviar version but each to their own this has a glwoing quality about it but if I then smother myself with makeup it may be lost and have to be added back in with illuminating products..

Expensive, fiddly, and overpackaged in non recyclable materials
At almost thirteen pounds at the time of writing, this is too expensive by far for a single use hydrogel mask that doesn't fit terribly well, and doesn't give particularly impressive results.Although ostensibly most of the hydrating properties come from the gel masks itself, the mask is covered in a thin, drippy lotion. The extent to which this drips isn't particularly reassuring, as the outer packaging makes clear that you should avoid contact with the eyes and lips. The mask comes in two pieces - each covered on both sides with plastic film, within a plastic coated foil envelope. This is rather a lot of single use plastic: not good, in this day and age. Neither part of the mask was a terribly good fit, and combined with the warnings about avoiding contact with eyes and lips the experience of using this wasn't terribly relaxing. The bottom part of the mask in particular was an absolute nuisance. It simply wouldn't stay put, even though I was lying down to use it, it kept slipping..The mask feels initially very cooling and soothing, but quickly warmed with my body heat. The ingredients include alcohol and perfumes, so this may not be ideal for those with sensitive skin. My skin felt softened and moister than normal for about half an hour after using this. Not long enough to justify the half hour spent applying it, how fiddly and annoying it was, or the high price.
