Did not know interchangeable nozzles for hot glue guns was a thing, and I quite like them
I grew up in a crafty household so am quite familiar with hot glue guns and pots, but apparently not familiar enough to know that they made hot glue guns with interchangeable nozzles to suit the project you’re working on. This AdTech hot glue gun is awesome, because of those nozzles. The elongated tips are nice for precise glue placement, which I needed for repairing a Halloween wreath (gluing some decorations back on). I was able to dot glue in tinier spots without dripping glue all over the place. Plus, while this review is for the glue gun itself, I have to mention how awesome the stringless Artistick glue sticks that are included. In the past I would just use bulk budget glue sticks that got the job done, but these Artisticks are virtually stringless and worth the splurge. I don’t do much in the crafting world anymore so I haven’t extensively used this, but the few times I’ve needed a glue gun for repairs I’ve had no complaints about this AdTech one. I’m quite happy with it so far and highly recommend it.

I like this
I really like this hot glue gun. It works great. If I ever needed another one I would buy this again.

It has one job and it does that job well.
Arrived in perfect condition in retail packaging. Unlike other glue guns I own, this will easily stay in the upright positing without easily tipping over. I like the fact that you have a choice of three nozzles. The power button is a nice touch as is the indicator light to let you know that it's on. I haven't used it extensively yet, but it doesn't appear to drip much. It would have been nice to have variable temperature control, but that would have likely increased the cost and complexity. The 75 watt power rating: I started to investigate this when I saw on the other side a label that stated 23 watts. I pulled out my Kill A Watt meter and started testing. Turns out that's around the power draw when it's up to temperature. When it's first turned on from being at room temperature, it can have an initial power draw of 140 watts or more. What's going on? It's using a PTC resistive heating element. When the temperature is low, so it the resistance (relatively speaking) and thus it draws more power. As it heats up the resistance increases, reducing power draw. This creates as self regulating effect and requires no thermostat. The temperature tolerance/accuracy won't be nearly as tight as if it had an actual thermostat, but it's good enough for a hot glue gun in most applications and it's low cost.I purchased a 50 pack of Adtech's multi temp clear glue sticks. They worked incredibly well with the gun. The bonds made are strong and there is minimal stringing. The glue gun appears to be able to keep up with pushing though sticks unlike my other ones, although I haven't tested this extensively. It will get more use when the Christmas decorations come out.Important note: the silicone boots on the nozzles help protect against instant burns, but it's still hot enough to burn you if touch it long enough. For changing nozzles (has to be done while hot) I would use a heat resistant pad or glove to swap a nozzle out.

Love this
This is the nicest glue gun I own. The ability to change the tips is great. It has an on and off switch and a little pull out stand. I think this would be a great addition to any crafter just because of the tips alone. Being able to control the glue like that is a huge advantage and will make crafts that much cleaner.

Best glue gun I've used
Had a chance to use the AdTech Pro 75 glue gun today to assemble a DIY holiday project and it worked like a dream. I was creating outdoor lighted ornaments out of clear plastic bowls by gluing two bowls together to create a sphere. First I used the angled tip to melt holes in the bottom of each bowl so I could thread the light strands through. That tip worked even better than I expected for the task. The iron heated up quickly and melted the holes without creating any mess. Once the gun cooled enough for me to change tips, I switched to the narrow one to apply a thin bead of glue around the top of a bowl so I could fasten it to another. The glue fed through easily and there were no drips when I set the gun down. The stand kept it stable and upright. I didn't even have many strings of glue, it really was the best experience I've had using a glue gun. The only flaw with my gun is that it only came with 3 glue sticks instead of 4, but 2 sticks provided plenty of glue to assemble 6 of these ornaments.
