Super cool I love this windsock. I was actually shocked when I opened it and it has a really nice metallic sheen to it. Looks great blowing in the breeze.

A Little Pricey For One Fish 🐠
Boys' Day will be here again before we know it! I only gave 4 stars because I thought it was a little pricey for just one fish 🐠 but it is pretty and I put it out to honor my now toddler grandson. I just hang it on my front door for now so I can't say anything about wind 💨 resistance.

Won’t Survive Strong Winds
I was stoked to get this, and it didn’t last more than two days in Chicago wind. Strings are fairly flimsy and thin, and they snapped after some heavy gusts.

Carp Adventures
I have always wanted a Japanese wind sock, I think they are just need and given my love of koi I couldn't see a reason not to put one on my balcony. I was worried that the string would not properly hook onto the little hanging hoop I was using and would get blown away, I really wish the string was thicker and might replace it with a piece of thicker hemp cording. I thought my fear was immediately realized when I looked out my porch door and my carp was missing, but I looked up and realized that no, it was still attached to the hook, just stuck to the roof. So I used my stepstool and pulled it down, and got a fish windsock full of gutter rainwater in the face. That was definitely NOT great, and my carp was moved back inside until I can figure out a way to hang it up without it getting absolutely whipped in the wind and stuck in the gutters again. But you didn't need to know all of that, what you need to know is that the koi wind sock is well crafted and very pretty, the gold of the scales seems to shimmer in the sunlight and I find that delightful. It is a really good size and definitely eye catching. I am tempted to get a few more and have them streaming on the pole I use to hold up my bird feeder.
