It is very easy to clean as well which is a nice feature. We have not used it as a cutting board, but I could also see that as an added benefit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for taking foods to picnic, potluck or party

I bought this to use for a cheese tray at an outdoor party and it was perfect for that. The cover is tall enough to accommodate small ramekins of spreadable cheese and dishes of olives, etc. The latch system seems very secure but do note that you need to slide the latches straight out and away from the tray before trying to lift them up to remove the cover. It could be easy to break the latches if you try to lift them straight up without sliding out. I have the acacia and white one and love the look of it. I plan to use it not just for cheese and charcuterie but for muffins, cookies, tea sandwiches, fresh fruit, cake slices etc. almost anything i might want to take to a party or potluck.
