I like it
Feels very different than an inflatable bag, in that it doesn't reward powerful strikes with that "sproinggg" sound a dribbled basketball makes. Instead the sound is much more like striking hand mitts, once you learn the different rhythm the bag wants. I happily use this without wraps or gloves for 20-25 minutes at a time. This bag does not rebound quite as much as inflatable bags, though with lighter elastic (or a taller ceiling) you could correct this. I used 2 strands of 1/4" shock cord (2 top, 2 bottom) for my 8' ceilings and I am happy. As others have said, the included rubber straps are high quality, but they are definitely for a 10+ foot ceiling. After 10 days of use the bag itself has stood up just fine to my cardio sessions, and I hope to use it for many months to come. Hopefully the higher $ mark mans quality here. I'll update it if falls apart prematurely.

Great excercise
My son loves this. We did a floor to ceiling install. Holding up good.

Just What I Wanted
I wasn't looking for a precision timing bag and I wanted to avoid the hassles of an inflatable bladder. One important (to me) caveat: The heavy rubber bungies that come with the bag weren't useable, at least not by themselves, in my situation. They have very little flexibility and might be appropriate if the aggregate height of bungies and bag almost exactly match your installation location. Their tensile strength seems pretty high, so I have the impression that if you attempt to stretch them too far it might result in the nylon connectors to the bag tearing loose. But bungie cords are inexpensive and plentiful, and I had extras lying around. As I said, I wasn't concerned about speed-bag like rebound precision. I wanted something more for general crosstraining to combine striking and cardio. Also, I have a small home gym where a permanent installation for a double-end striking bag wasn't in the cards. The gym includes a full-size lifting cage, and what I chose to do was use large "S" hooks to attach the top to the cage's crossbar, and the bottom to a dumbbell. Easy and quick to set-up and takedown; takes only seconds. After a little experimentation with which bungie cords I wanted to use, I ended up with two versions: one a little tighter for a snappier, quicker rebound, and one a bit looser for a bigger rebound arc that would require more body movement while training. Been using the setup 3 to 4 times per week for several months and I have no complaints. The bag is comfortable to strike; is always consistent based on the bungie setup; is hassle-free regarding inflation pressure; and I can vary its rebound responsiveness (and height, when I want to) easily by switching out bungie cords.

The ultimate review
If there is one review you should read, this is the review as I'm going to give you a 100% honest feedback. Okay, so there is a lot of good to this bag, however, it's not without flaws.THE GOOD:- Very light- Good Rebound - see "the bad" on this too- Come with 2 thick bungee cords but no ceiling or floor anchors- Super soft. One review said pillow in a pinch. Definitely not kidding.- No air neededTHE BAD:- If your ceiling is not super high meaning 10 feet or more, extremely difficult to get propped tension. I have 8ft ceiling and had to use one of their bungee and one of mine.- Rebound is very go, however, no matter how hard you hit you don't get the same snap as one with a bladder. When I say snap, I mean coils back to where reaches your face easy. You can still slip but not the same.- Very soft exactly like a pillow. Actually it's softer than mine. This is good and bad. It's bad because you don't get the same snap. I compared this to my other bag at the same height and you get a better return.END RESULT:Its a great bag if you're tired of having to fill air. Soft on your hands so no wraps are ever needed but you won't get the same return. If you play around with then tention for example get adjustable bungee cords you might be able to get it to work better. You want the bag at face / chin level. With then tention it takes a while to really get it correct and again. Unless you have very high ceiling the thick bungee only one is good.WHY IS THIS :Good question Shadow, because the cables are so thick it makes them very difficult to tie them in a knot to make them shorter. If the ceiling is very high like in a boxing gym then I'm sure the tension will be fine. If you're using in your house or garage most likely you'll have a problem. My suggestion, use one and get a good adjustable bungee cord. As for size, I feel the 7 inch is perfect. 9 to me would be too big and 11 is just enormous. My other double end is a 6in diameter. The 6 is a tad difficult if throwing a hook but the 7 I can land not too many issues. If you're an absolute beginner and you've never used this before ever start the 9. In the end, if you had it with putting in air this bag will work just fine. However, if you can deal with putting in air, you might want to look at another bag like the gyro.I am a certified level 2 boxing coach under Tony Jeffries from box 'n burn Academy. Most enjoyable punching bag I have purchased!
Incredible product! Much better than a bag with a bladder. I highly recommend this bag!

Good bag but cable failed in 10 minutes
Like that the bag is pre inflated and a like a pillow. Just using it for cardio but the cable snapped from the ceiling and the hook actually hit my face so be careful. If you buy this get different cables.

I had my doubts...
I've practiced with Title inner bladder balls for decades. I was concerned the softness of this bag wouldn't be good enough. I was completely wrong! I use multiple bungies on bottom to keep it super tight and responsive. The bag stretches out, so it's not round anymore, but it doesn't matter. Both types have their benefits, I suppose, but I'll never go back.

Great bag
I really enjoy hitting this bag. I think the foam helps it absorb a lot of the force and you can hit it pretty hard, it is very satisfying. Awesome cardio and hand-eye coordination. I agree with another reviewer who said tall ceilings are nice. I am sure you can get creative and make it work if you have shorter ceilings. Maybe different bungees or something. Anyway, I would buy this again and I use it a lot, but I have it rigged with about a 9 ft ceiling.
