Tasty light drink.
Haven't seen snowballs for years. In the past these were very popular in the bar where I worked and always sold well. I have no idea if they were taken off the market, but they completely disappeared from the pups and inns where I live. Nice to see them available again, and the wife is extremely happy that I found these. Brings back fond memories of our younger days.

Shake before use
This is a review of what Amazon called Snowball Pack of 4, 452 ml but was actually 800ml in total because each bottle was 200ml. The packaging proclaims ‘NEW bigger bottle’ as well as informing us that it ‘contains egg and sulphites’. It says Accolade Wines on it and my immediate response was ‘who the pluck are Accolade Wines, never heard of them?’In the old days it used to be the people who manufactured Babycham, Showerings, who also made the bottled snowball. Back in those days the bottled snowball used to be really nice. This product from Amazon calls itself Goldwell snowball. Goldwell was a drinks company based in West Malling. The company ceased trading in 1989 after 40 years of manufacturing drinks. The production was transferred to Showerings' base in Shepton Mallet. So there still appears to be a link between this current bottled snowball and the makers of Babycham.Turns out there has been a long and convoluted history for the makers of Babycham. Showerings were bought by Allied Breweries in 1968, then various names including Brothers Drinks, Gaymers and The Showering Cider Mill were all involved, but Babycham has somehow ended up being owned by Accolade Wines. In April 2018 we were told that Australia's Accolade Wines had been bought by US private equity firm the Carlyle Group for AU$1 billion (£548 million), meaning that the value of the company had more than trebled since 2011, when it was bought by former owners CHAMP, another private equity firm. So that’s who Accolade Wines are! This product is three and a half percent alcohol by volume, so fairly weak from that point of view, but the main disappointment is that it doesn’t really sparkle. It’s flat. In the old days it used to be a carbonated drink which really sparkled, and the fizziness of the lemonade helped to cover up any smell of eggs from the Advocaat or from suplhites (preservatives). Because this isn’t a fizzy drink it smells farty, and that isn’t a good smell for a fun drink to have.So that’s why they tell you to shake it before use. It doesn’t just mix in any sediment, it should help to give the drink a bit of sparkle. Unfortunately, it doesn’t. So this drink was quite disappointing and nowhere near as nice as it used to be. You can rescue it by adding your own lemonade to make it sparkle, but by then it will be even more watered-down than it already was. So I can’t really recommend this product and am unlikely to buy it again, even if buying four packs of four bottles did qualify me for no delivery charge with Amazon Pantry on this occasion.

lovely
I thought these would be different from the original bottles but they are just as nice. I found them tasty and refreshing and bonus was using the bottles for arty purposes afterwards. Happy : ) cheers!

100yr old Treat
Purchased for my Gran to enjoy on her 100th birthday. They are the only alcoholic drink she has ever had and she thoroughly enjoyed them.

Disgusting.
This is one of, if not the worst drinks I have ever tasted. It is so bad, like if marzipan had an ugly sister who got run over by a tractor, insanely bad. I don't think I have the vocabulary to describe how bad this is. Spat out and then bottle poured down the sink. Look up what snowballing is on urban dictionary, I actually think I'd rather do that, than drink more of this.
