This hair serum works well and keeps my beard conditioned. I wouldn't say the scent is almond but it's still a nice, light scent. I've tried it by adding to wet and also dry hair. Wet hair works best. It's not oily, which is important when I'm wearing a suit for work. No stains like some other products I've tried!

This serum works well as beard oil, and the scent is pleasant enough, although it smells a bit too much like cheap almond extract for my particular taste. It isn't greasy, like a lot of oils I've tried, and it dries in relatively quickly. It softens the beard hair as well as other oils I've tried, but its claims of fuller-looking hair or "more volume and thickness" don't seem to be true, at least for me -- your mileage may vary. As a conditioner/beard oil, it's fine, but I think some of the claims are a little exaggerated., and the price is bit high for what it is. If you just want a nice beard oil that isn't greasy, this product works well. It's also securely packaged in the box with a Styrofoam sleeve, so the bottle is very well-protected. A good product overall, however.

Some men wear beards as a fashion statement, others have beards because they don't want to shave. I'm one of the latter so while this while this oil straightened, darkened and made my beard look more full I have a hard time seeing me use it on a daily basis. If you trim your beard and make the edges sharp every day I think you would love this oil. It also took my fuzzy beard and made it more pleasant to touch, which my partner definitely appreciated.

This serum smells so nice and has helped soften and condition my husband's beard. There has been noticeable growth ... is it due to the serum or just natural growth, I don't know but it is a very nice addition to his daily routine.

I don't have a full beard but I do like to keep a mustache and goatee. I have noticed that my facial hair grows dry and course, much to the chagrin of my wife. I found this supplement to help soften my facial hair. I haven't been using it for too long or too often but I already notice a nominal difference in the texture of my hair. I'm not use to the scent of the oil and the taste is rather unpleasant to me. (Drops seeped into my mouth after putting a touch too much in my mustache. Still, I'm sure it tastes and smells more pleasant than some of the alternatives out there! $40 seems a bit steep as far as serums go but that's coming from someone with little facial hair and little experience with beard care.
