Sharp Frets
I ordered this bass used in "acceptable" condition, so needless to say, I did expect to see some shipping damage. But thats not necessarily what my complaint is about, I knew what I was getting nyself into with that. Due to the bass being labeled in that condition the price was dropped down to $311 for the one I ordered, which is a huge drop considering it's base price. I was very disappointed to see the the frets were not filed down well at all. It honestly felt like playing an Intro series Stingray, which is not something I'd want to say about a $500+ bass. I have also had an issue with the tuning machines and the truss rod, and I've only had this bass for a few hours now. Definitely not the type of quality I'd expect from and Indonesian Stingray. My best advice to anyone looking to get one of these, just go to Guitar Center, you'll probably find one in far better quality there.
