These are great to have for travel. They are easy to use and will give you a heads up if someone it attempting to get into your room. I works in all doors I have used them in. I do use them in my home. They are a great value for the money. I highly recommend.

This popped right off the door with minimal effort.

I like the idea. The problem is the door construction. I haven’t been able to use it at either hotel so far! The first didn’t have enough space between the door and the jamb. The second had too deep of a threshold so I couldn’t get it between the wall and the door. Also got flagged in TSA checkpoint, they said it looked like a blade and had to do a search.

Safety first, especially for us ladies traveling. You really never know what to expect these days, and honestly we should live in a world where products like this aren’t necessary at all. But we live in this one instead, so if carrying a small travel gadget gives me an extra layer of security and peace of mind, then so be it. This portable door lock is compact, easy to carry, and simple enough to use once you get the hang of it. I used this in Spain where the door in the apartment hotel was opened by an app...a little too dependent on the honesty of the staff for me (as most hotels ), it fit the secondary lock fine so no complaints. It can likely be forced with enough pressure but it will deter the opportunistic break in or the sound will be so loud you'll be alerted.

very easy to use and does a good job of providing extra security

This lock works as described. It keeps my toddler in the hotel room. However, I did not like how by using this lock I was not able to actually use the lock on the hotel door, it was kept shut by the Sabre lock.
