Cuddl Duds Heavyweight 2 Piece Sets Base Layer Thermal Underwear for Women

I was honestly surprised by how nice this set is for the price. The material is thick, soft, and warm, and it feels much more substantial and higher quality than I expected. For sizing reference, I’m 5’4”, about 120 lbs, and ordered a Small. It fits me perfectly. I can definitely see myself wearing this as a base layer for outdoor sports when I need to stay warm, but it’s also comfortable enough for something as simple as a casual walk on a cold day. I haven’t owned or washed it long enough to comment on whether the material will pill over time, but my first impression of the quality is very good. I’ll update my review if that changes after more wear and washing. Overall, this exceeded my expectations for the price. If warmth is what you’re looking for, I would definitely recommend it.

Sizing is right on! First impression was I didn’t think the material would keep me warm. Then I put them on and oh my God they’re wonderful. They’re absolutely perfect. I live in a drafty house and I can fit these right under my jeans. No trouble at all. I don’t feel any cold at all over my entire body right now living in a cold house with the wood stove off and the furnace not running-if you’re in chronic pain like me buy them you will not be disappointed. They will help you very much-they’re helping me and I’ve only had them on like 10 minutes. I’m buying more.

I wore today in -6 degree weather and I was toasty warm! Much better than the long John’s I bought these to replace! They are thick but not bulky. The material is soft and stretchy but breathable. I wore the set comfortably under fitted jeans and a sweater. I LOVE how the top has thumb holes! I had order two sets, a size small and medium since I am sometimes between sizes, at 5 ft, 125lbs, size 4/5 pants. Sometimes size small tops run tight as I wear a 36DDD bra, so I wasn’t sure if the small would be too tight. I wore the small set today, and it was snug, but not tight. It was just right, and incredibly comfortable. I was outside for about 2 hours and didn’t get cold at all! I was also pleased there was no funny smell, last time I bought a long john set it had a chemical smell when I opened the package. These just smelled as they should, like nothing at all. Great price too. I Bought the Black and Boysenberry Purple.

I needed a set of affordable heavyweight base layer to help me get through this cold Iowa winter. It’s expensive to heat my century home and I can’t afford to keep the temperatures where I’d like. When I first got these, I was disappointed because they seemed thin and I thought they’d only be good under or over another layer. That thinness is deceiving - these are so pleasantly warm that I’m using them as pajamas and feeling quite toasty. They have a silky outer layer and the inner layer feels like a brushed fleece. Other reviews noted that these seemed oversized. I’m 5’5” 130 lbs and usually wear a medium. I ordered a medium and they fit perfectly. I think if anything they run a bit long which I appreciate because everything in this style feels like a 7/8ths/highwater length recently. They have thumb holes to keep hands warm. I ordered the soft blue and they are lovely. I recommend this brand and this set, and I’ll be getting more in different colors to add to my collection. These are a win for sure!

This set of cuddle duds were a great price quality material well made and they're so soft and warm I'm pretty sure you'll love them pick you up some.

Fit- I’m 5’5 and 130 pounds, athletic build. I got a size medium, which is what I usually wear in leggings (under armor, fabletics, etc.). I expected the pants to fit like leggings, but they were very baggy (especially in the knees and waist) and short. The top was also loose and bigger. Fabric- The fabric is extremely soft and feels like it’s good quality. It’s a good thickness for a base layer - not bulky but still warm. Overall, the quality is good and I’ll enjoy wearing them. They will work as a base layer when going out in the cold and the snow, but the fit is a bit big.

I wore these base layers and one more layer of fleece on top (no rain thank goodness) and I was perfectly warm in 30° weather. With a beanie of course. Would buy again. I haven’t washed them just yet, but so far so good.

I’M SO GLAD I ORDERED THESE. I HAVE a top, but no bottoms. I really like the feel, comfort and how well it keeps me warm. That’s why I ordered the set.
