Fits Audi TT mk2 (2008-2015)
Feels solid. Fit's pretty well, although I did need to use a rubber mallet to get it all the way in there. Hopefully this fully metal one holds up better than the OEM or subsequent plastic replacement did.

Crazy tough
Broke the oem. Then broke the vw replacement. Then broke a plastic after market. (Yeah the cables a little corroded on my 2008). Guarantee this one one break. Maybe best built part on my tt now!

Great quality, easy install
Fit perfect. Audi original should have been this superior quality. I also have a 2021 Porsche and noticed that has a plastic hood release also, hope that doesn’t break also.

Fit and function perfect, metal.
Finally a metal design. Fit great. Omg so strange something so simple can make me happy. Not stressed when pulling the hood latch, thinking will this be the day it breaks again. After 4 breaking factor n non. This has ended my stress just a bit!! Thank you for this great part, I'm so in love with it. Sounds dumb but if you know... you know..

Good quality
The quality is great and feels solid. An amazing replacement. Doesn't feel like it's going to break anytime soon. It fit great, but I had to cut one of the notches for it to seat perfectly. I think it was made for a newer mk2 TT. My TT only has 2 notches, the handle was made for 3.

Unfortunately it breaks easy. I already have purchase 3 because I have no other choice. I’m disappointed seeing the price raising every time I need to re purchase.

Why did you choose this product over others?: PLEASE READ IF IN THE UK This part is not for left-hand drive vehicles, However, the part is well made, solid metal, heavy, sturdy The screw does not come out; it's one solid piece. I have to give it a one-star rating because it doesn't fit my car
