ikiki Squeaky Shoes for Toddlers with On/Off Squeaker Switch

My son is 1 1/2 and has super wide feet. He started walking at 18 months and I needed to find him shoes urgently (had only worn socks up to that point). Every shoe we tried was either too big, too small, not wide enough etc. Even the stride rite were a little snug. It was very stressful and he was starting to hate shoes from having to try on so many.His new shoes are so roomy and he doesn’t complain when I put them on (just a little lol). And they are very cute! He wears a size 7 and they fit perfectly. He is a toe walker and I can tell that these shoes are helping him keep his heels on the ground. I haven’t heard him activate the squeak yet but we’re getting there. He enjoys exploring the stores more and just wants to be on the ground walking. I can tell he loves the design because he points and smiles at the cat on his shoes. I’ll be getting these shoes exclusively until he tells me otherwise. There are so many cute styles to choose from and there are also some without the squeak. The price is also pretty reasonable compared to other brands. We’ll see how these hold up on our upcoming trip to Disneyland. Overall I have very high hopes!

These shoes are better quality than I expected. The tongue's fabric is very thin, but the shoe is lightweight. They are very cute and squeak very well in every step. The on/off button are very discreet

My daughter toe walks. We’ve spent a ridiculous amount of money to get her to wear shoes and she’s never has. She’s four and a half. Hundreds of dollars on shoes. I found these on a google search of best shoes for AFOs. Wish I would’ve found these years ago.First off she loves auditory input. So the squeak is right up her alley and she’ll do what is necessary to get them to squeak. That motivation alone has her heel to toe walking which is a miracle in our home. Haven’t even needed to use the AFOs though we are going to. Maybe if I found these years ago we wouldn’t need them to begin with.Now most shoes when you put them on her she walks weird. Like a dog does when putting on shoes. The funny walk that people video tape and put on fb. It’s cute but counterproductive for our needs. These are the first shoe she walked naturally in, didn’t panic when the shoe was on, and didn’t send her into sensory overload. It’s a miracle I tell you.Watching her run heel to toe is tear jerking. She loves the squeak and it urges her to run to get the squeak faster. It’s such a huge deal.Her leg tendon/muscles aren’t so tight. Part of her PT is massaging and stretching the tendon so it’s not so taught. Which is a fear of toe walking kids. As well as the surgery a lot have to go through by cutting the Achilles’ tendon and reattaching it. Toe walkers over time make it so tight that that’s the only option. It happens a lot to them in their teens. I absolutely do not want that for my baby. Intervention is paramount. These are priceless miracle shoes for us.The designs are super freaking adorable as well as the names of the shoes. I mean come on, those are amazing and whoever thought them up was a genius.I loved them so much we got two pairs for my daughter. One for inside and outside. We may get a third if the AFOs stretch out the shoe. Tbh I’m just happy she’ll wear them and excited there’s so many different designs I’d buy the whole dang collection. We bought Duchess Bubble Sparkles the unicorn and Leo Longfire the dragon for her (so far and I mean how cute are those names) and Captain Zuga the pirate skull shoe for my 16 month old. These are this houses shoes from now on and I won’t buy any others.My only plea is the sizes stop at 13. We got 10s for her due to the AFO you need to buy a bigger size and they don’t have half sizes which tbh isn’t a big deal at all. But. They stop at size 13. Please please please from the bottom of my heart make them for bigger kids. We have time till her foot gets there but I’ll be devastated when she outgrows the last size shoe. I mean we have time probably years in fact (I hope). I’m even tempted to buy one of each size just to have them for the future just in case.Can’t say enough about these shoes. Oh they have a squeaker you can turn off and on I’m not sure if I mentioned that. Sweetest sound I’ve ever heard as it only squeaks when you walk heel to toe. Super soft material with give. Both my kids seem to do awesome in them and my daughter is flourishing in them. Can’t say enough amazing things about them.Miracle shoes. Pure and simple.

My 2 year old didn't want brown or navy blue hand-me downs and I can't blame him. Boys shoes can be so dull... why can't they make more colorful options for toddler boys? When he saw these he finally said, "wow!" to a pair of shoes that were for him. The shoes seem very well constructed and really are cute. They are as colorful as the picture. I might say they could be considered tacky by some, but to have shoes that my toddler WANTS to put on is huge for us! Also, this is the only pair of squeaky shoes I have ever seen with an on/off switch... worth the 5 stars by itself. I love the squeakers with 5 littles to keep track of even the ones I can't see. I have learned that a quiet toddler is a potentially naughty one:0! I find them really cute for a toddler and he wears them all day with no complaint, rubbing or pinching even on his wide feet. I will say; I'd order the size you think your child normally wears. I printed the size guide as instructed and ended up with an 11, those were HUGE and had to be returned for the 9 I had originally guessed he'd wear. Shoes came with coupons for more -- double bonus!

This brand is the only brand we buy to fit over my son's SMO braces. He loves to get to pick a new character each time we buy a new pair. They are well made, wide enough to fit the braces in, and easy for him to get on and off. It's a huge bonus that they are cute! He likes to keep the squeakers turned off and they will occasionally turn on unexpectedly, but its a small price to pay for shoes we adore. Highly recommend!!

Struggled to find shoes that would fit my baby’s chunky little feet, but these were great! Cute design and squeaks are a bonus!

Super cute and perfect for babies with wide feet but I bought them for the squeak because I thought it was super cute and they aren’t super squeaky or don’t squeak a every step taken. If they do squeak it’s not loud which could be a good thing if you’re easily annoyed with squeaky noises. But they are cute and durable shoes.

These are incredibly cute! My son can wear them easily. Hard to hear the squeak but that's okay. The design reminds me of Hedwig from Harry Potter! Love it!

I bought it going off the description that it willMake squeeky sound. But it does not. There is nothing in the shoes to support that.

Hermosos! De calidad se ven muy bien y cómodos, vienen amoldados dentro por lo que no es un zapato plano (sí da soporte al pie del niño). Le quedaron más grandes de lo esperado aunque nada grave. Se le puede activar o desactivar el sonido al pisar.

I LOVE ikiki shoes. These are my sons second pair (after he got new AFOs and could no longer fit them into his previous pair).I love the giraffes, and I love that due to the generous size (width and height) I don’t need to size them up like other shoes.However.. they are expensive given there are no UK suppliers and as such we need to pay expensive delivery and customs charges. I was concerned in case they didn’t fit (which would be a pain) and so checked the sizing by measuring his AFOs and using the ikiki website.They are also out of stock in many designs in the young children sizes.
