This product has been going strong for about a month now, and it is extremely easy to use as well as empty the contents once it is full. I also like the fact that it easily sharpens all types of pencils, including colored pencils. The robot pencil sharpener looks kid-friendly and is fairly quiet, so it does not disturb instruction or independent tasks of students. The happy robot is a bright purple color, and regarding the power source, it does use a USB adapter. The only down side to the product is that it does not come with a cube to plug the charger into. Review: Cutest ever - Makes my life easier and my students love it - but I don’t let them use it. And all the teachers in the world know why. It really helps that it charges and is cordless bc I can check my four tables and sharpen in a heart beat ## Features - FULLY AUTOMATIC PENCIL SHARPENER: Simply drop a pencil in and this electric pencil sharpener will auto feed in and auto eject the pencil once pointy. If it doesn't work, please remove the lid, take out the blade piece and dislodge the jams with a steel wire or other similar tool. **Q: What to do if the pencil gets stuck in the sharpener so that the sharpener stops working?** A: Remove the lid, take out the pencil, and put the lid back to use. Please do not sharpen pencils less than 2.9 inch, as the pencil may get stuck in the blade. **Q: What to do if the pencil tip breaks a lot?** A: This sharpener is equipped with strong helical blade, which gives hard pencils a super sharp point. However, if the pencil core is rather soft, it may cause tip breakage with the sharp setting. Please change to medium or blunt setting. **Q: Can the blade of this sharpener be replaced?** A: Yes. The ASIN for blade: B0CJ8YYSV5 **Q: What to do if the sharpener doesn't hold a charge?** A: Change an adapter. Make sure the specification is 5V 2A, not too high or too low. If the issue persists, try replacing the blade.
