This tape works!
I hate having to buy a whole new batting when I have pieces left from a previous project. This tape works well to piece together a whole batting.

Messed up my iron
This did a good job but I had to scrub my iron afterward with comet and a scrub brush. Instructions were not clear on which side was sticky lol. By tge time I figured it out on my own my iron was also sticky. Other than this it did a good job. Just wish the directions were a little more detailed

Label ripped the instructions
The label that was on the back and stuck on the instructions and ripped the instructions off! I could not read all the instructions.

Besides being a great use for basting batting pieces together this will invisibly ...
Dear fellow quilters, have you ever accidentally made a cut in your fabric with your rotary cutter? Then this is the tape for you. Besides being a great use for basting batting pieces together this will invisibly mend your fabric from errant cuts. Because the tape is so light, once your fabric is mended you can even HAND QUILT! But don't let the light tape fool you. This is a durable and strong mender. The tape even has a straight and cross grain. When you apply it to the back side of the fabric to use in mending, make sure you align the tape and fabric grains. It is washing machine strong. Every serious quilter needs this in their sewing room. I have both the 1 1/2 (for fabric) and 3 inch (for batting) wide. Now, I can use the left over batting for smaller projects. Quick and easy! You will love it!

Why Hadn't I Heard of This Before?
This is so much easier than basting scraps of leftover batting together. I'm working on a stash-buster--a lighty quilted tablecloth that uses up lots of whites, off-whites, and a few very pale pastels. The idea was to use what I already had, so I was determined to use up those leftover peices of batting, too. This did the job beautifully. Now that I'm quilting, I can't find the seamed spots in the batting. --Do read the instructions and set your iron on steam.

Works great
The first time I used it, I had the iron on too long and it melted. You don't need a full 6 seconds like the package says. I also use and old strip of lightweight cardboard (cereal box weight) and put it between the iron and the tape now. Works great.

Very useful...
This product is a great way to avoid waste on batt leftover cuts. I even had occasion to use it to join two edges of cloth for the back of a very utilitarian quilt I was making. I've recommended it to friends as well.

Batting seam tape
This is a great product when you have lots of batting pieces. I have used this on large batting quilt products and I have not had any problems with pieces coming apart. I would recommend this product.
