My son loved this set up so much! Pretty durable pieces and none of the snapping shapes together to get a cheap plastic gun or bush to hind behind. My son loves this set so much because it comes with so much! He wants another set so he can battle both sets and have a huge war. The imagination is awesome, great toys set!

This set of army men looks exactly what the photos show. While not top quality, they are great for what we wanted them for. My boys wanted toys to play with in the sandbox, and this set has taken up permanent residence outside. They get hours of play and this set lets them use their imagination to the fullest.

I got this set of army men for my kids. In my day, we called them "Little Green Army Men." I was hoping to share a positive experience from my childhood. The order arrived on a dangerously hot afternoon as the kids were stuck in the house. As soon as they opened the set, they completely forgot about their electronics. They set up three or four different "scenes" and even incorporated other toys and dolls into the battle. This set held their attention for a solid two days, and I'm sure they will go back to it.The set itself is very nice. It comes with several extra pieces (e.g., helicopters, jeeps, barricades, concertina wire, etc.). As a result, it's a little thin on the number of troops.For what it's worth, the soldiers in my kit were different from the pictures on the product page. The product page shows a smattering of lackluster figurines. They remind me of what you might associate with cold war era proxy wars. The figurines in my set were replicas of a post cold war forces (e.g., 782 web gear, M249s, AR variants, old school SMAWs, etc.). There's only one set of figures that look like they are rocking Garands.At the end of the day, I'm very satisfied with the set. It lets the kids get back to using their imagination. I will probably buy an add-on set to bump up the numbers.
