You will need to disassemble it
Yes. You will need to disassemble it completely and wash the dirty grease out and to clean/fix up any machinging goofs. Then when you re-assemble, be prepared to play with screw tensions, and maybe even sanding of the one plastic part. Once I did all that, I ended up with a nice three jaw chuck setup and was able to clamp it to my drill press and mill a nice circle in brass. I checked the run-out of the chuck prior to disassembly and it was hitting 9/1000 but after cleanup and re-assembly it was within 0.001 for the whole rotation. That's better than I was hoping for.

Vevor rotary table
This rotary table is useless for any kind of precision machining. The chuck rocks especially when screwing the locking screw in and you can actually se the chuck move and it won’t keep the chuck locked in place. Totally disappointed!

I will never buy anything from vevor again
Piece of junk
A**.
It's a $130 rotary table...
Other reviews apparently have too high expectations from a cheap chinese rotary chuck. If you're looking for 10ths accuracy, this aint it...
