Nice balance between stiff enough so it doesn't jump around, but pliant enough to shape as needed. 12' seemed long, but it was perfect to route from the washer to the basement sink even with a dryer in between the two. Be sure to secure the U bracket as this hose will allow enough discharge to move around if not held down.

The hose material is kind of thin. Go easy adjusting the wall mount, it can cut a leak in the hose. And the screw hole does not clear the hose. For the most part it works.

I was excited to get this hose for what appeared to be an improvement in design.Upon closer exam after failure in only 3 weeks, this hose is too thin in construction. Yes it’s reinforced with a plastic coil like spring for reinforcement,but the flash vinyl like material is more like a really cheap vacuum hose but on a smaller scale. I ended up going back to the big box store and replacing it at less than what this cost. Failure was the vinyl “ skin” blown over the plastic coil reinforcement- tore from drum in spin cycle.

I do major amts of laundry at times running a dog rescue. My septic can't handle it. The plumber grey lined the dishwasher instead of the washer, so to function, I use this & it works! I have to run a better (thicker hose) from the washer out the dog door, to this line. This hose leaked at the washer drain connection. The one I use to connect washer to this drain hose, does not.I use all 60+ ft adding the other hose. Couldn't get the job done otherwise!
