Great ratcheting crimper with quick release tool head
These are great little crimpers with a couple of different tool heads for different types of terminals. Used it on several radio installs and replacing some wiring in a friend's boat without any issues. The quick release tool head on this tool is great, another crimper I have requires you to pull out a screw to replace the dies which is a pain in the backside when you have different terminals that require the different heads on the same job. I do wish this tool come with a case or bag of some sort so you can keep all of the dies and tool in the same place without using the box, other than that, you can't go wrong with this tool.

Great value!
This crimper comes with multiple dies that make any job a breeze. Just used it to do my car audio stuff and saved me a hand ache from doing them manually. 100% recommend if you’re going to be crimping a lot of wires!

Good crimper but not the same quality as a high end single use crimp tool
To start, this crimp tool is very versatile. It offers quite a few options for size and style of crimp and that versatility is what saves it's not perfect performance. It's great for general use but if you want to do precise you'll need single purpose built tool for each crimp style you want to crimp That being said, I'll keep using this for everything but the highest quality crimps that have to look perfect and perform at 110%.

Don’t be crimping my style!
This is a solid crimper, especially for the price. The dies swap out easily and this makes solid and secure crimp connections. There are probably nicer crimp tools out there, but for the price this does everything you’d need it to.The tool itself is of medium quality - certainly good enough for the DIYer or pro that needs to make an occasional crimp. This tool works well and I would gladly buy it again if needed.

Good crimpers
I wanted a good set of multi-purpose crimpers to keep in my toolkit, so I thought I would give these a try. Excellent choice. These crimpers are well made out of good quality materials. Fit and finish are excellent. Changing jaws for the different types of terminals is easy. Takes up much less room than having multiple sets of crimpers. Highly recommend. 5 stars.

Easy swap dies, adjustable crimp tension, heavy duty tool.
This tool has a good design and features which my other crimpers don't, so I was excited to try them and see how they worked. The crimps worked fairly well with the dies which came on it for heat shrink connectors. The dies pop out with a squeeze of the releases outside the jaws. Four different sets means you are ready for ferrule or bare connectors as well as standard nylon insulated and heat shrink connections. The first set I received had some issues, though. The jaws were offset and caused the crimps to scissor while crimping and damaged/bent the connectors. The seller was concerned and messaged me, encouraging me to return the product and offering a refund or free replacement. I sent the faulty pliers back and just received a replacement today, which work a lot better. Since the dies are replaceable, there still can be a slight shift when crimping, but they are as close to aligned as I could imagine possible. My first set was just a lemon, and I'm glad to see not typical of Lytool tools. I like the ratcheting mechanism and release if you need to back out and readjust a crimp. Also there is an adjustment for finished crimp tightness which should be useful. They do take some real force to complete a crimp. This is especially true with the H5 and H6 dies, which actually perform a double crimp, one at the connector and another on the sleeve to grip the wire's insulation. I'm happy with these pliers and am glad I gave Lytool a second chance. The swappable dies make them very versatile and they make nice crimps which don't damage the heat shrink sleeves. Check when you receive your pliers that the jaws are properly aligned. If you find an issue with this or anything else, I highly encourage you to exchange the product. The seller stands behind his product and is concerned with customer satisfaction.

Well built, flexible tool, but ... ah .. it won't actually crimp anything
I like this product. Swapping crimp tips is very easy. Lots of options. None of them work on bare copper crimp tabs such as in the attached picture. They might work on larger, insulated crimp ring terminals. This tool won't bend the terminal as it crimps. If I set the crimp ring at the bottom of the "U" in the tools, the top of the tool won't close enough to even reach the crimp.Update: So, ok, ok, after I initially wrote this, I sort of relented. I just hate slamming a product. So, I decided to try a few other techniques, but none really worked. The crimp head will not roll over the top to close over the connection. I tried bending the tines inward, to give the tool a head start. See second picture; nope. I eventually just crimped the connect with needle nose pliers, and then crimped them to solidify the connection (third picture). Unfortunately, the rachet release wouldn't work under pressure. I couldn't get the tool to open. I finally bore down until the tool opened on it's own (i.e. which it's designed to do if it's over-pressured, I suppose. In the process, the tool mashed the crimp ring so tightly into the bottom of the crimp tool, that it's difficult to remove the crimp ring from the tool (maybe impossible, I really don't want to cut those wires, but may have to). Understand, I have other professional crimpers. I bought this tool specifically for these bare, uninsulated copper crimes. I bought it to ensure I attained a professional crimp. I ordered the crimps and tools from Amazon, waited days to receive it and restart my project, and here I am, right back where I started from with an apparently useless tool. I'm angry about it, which is why this is a one star review. (Amazon can be so hit or miss on tools!)Oh, the tool is very pretty. It looks solid. It just doesn't do what it was designed to do, or at least, not any better than my other crimping tools without all the multiple heads. Those tools will open once engaged, too. This may work for you, and if it's what you need, again, it appears very well made. Oh, hint: Notice what the folks with all the positive reviews paid for their product. Who's actually used this thing?
