My touring bike has a single charge port that the USB slot is loose. A replacement part is currently $103.95 USD. I would rather have fewer bar mounted devices, but two switchable USB ports for a third of the cost, and without having to remove a great deal of bodywork is perfect for me. (Removed the seat and loosen the tank to hide wires.) I just finished a ten day trip. Rain, sun, and many cable connections/disconnections, nothing interfered with the function, plus the switch kept from suffering a dead battery.

I hard-wired this USB Charger to my KLX300. The length of the cable was exact! The provided fuse tube was perfect. I did use an automotive cable conduit to protect the cable from the engine and radiator heat since I routed via the left side of the bike (where the battery is). In the front, I came out on the right side of the dashboard. This USB charger works for the Garmin GPS and iPhone, and it’s 6.8A capability might be useful when recharging drone batteries and things like that. Being able to monitor the battery voltage and turning a master switch on/off is a great feature. The rubber cap seals really well, so it should protect during rain. The provided mount was very good, but I did not need it. Highly recommend!

The unit works perfectly. Nice addition to my T-dub. I mounted it to the dash using 3M dual lock velcro. The unit has an on-off switch which is great since I had to run the wiring under my gas tank. I used the included fused tail wiring to connect to my battery.

It’s been awhile better part of a year. The clamp finally broke. My brothers is still work as the day we installed it. About a month after I got mine. Great to have for charging your phone. I may route it to my saddle bag now. Not sure why it broke. Could be Texas heat. Still nice to have.

Got it for my son. He goes motorcycle camping and has no reliable way to charge phone or lights...he said it charges well..instalation wasn't too hard.

Extremely pleased with the outcome. Easily mounted. Very adjustable. Perfect wire length. I love the on-off power switch with the light to make you aware of its status. This allows me to power my phone and other devices while riding.

Can't say enough good things about this phone charger. It works exceptionally well at charging your phone while riding and displays your battery amps, which is a great plus. It was easy to install. We did take the extra time to hide the wires under the plastics and seat so they could not be seen or disturbed. We have them on all of our motorcycles. We like the on/off switch, but you must make sure and turn it off to keep from running the battery down.

The handle har clamp did not fit my HD softail. I had to find piece of rubber to fill gap between clamp and handle bar. Al so I could not use my trickle charger. It’s not compatible wire connection. That’s reason for 4 stars. I haven’t had a chance to see if it actually works on rides

Excellent option for bike trips. Easy to install. Nice to be able to charge radio headsets "on the fly", cell phones and the like. Works while riding or in a evening when your campsite is all set up.

Just what I wanted

Easy to install , works great ! This usb charger is fast ... previous units maintained my phone battery while using gps , but this one actually charges it all the way up .... nice to be able to see my motorcycle battery level too
