To celebrate the return of Chris Evans and TFI Friday to our screens on 12th June, this album is packed with the original versions of tracks that were performed on the show during its run from 1996 – 2000 and defined this era. Featuring Ocean Colour Scene, Pulp, Cast, The Charlatans, Catatonia, Stereophonics, James and of course the theme, Man In A Suitcase.

Excellent compilation album of studio tracks
This album took me back to a time when I was younger, more carefree, and life was that much easier. Chock full of cracking tunes including from some bands that would have to be tagged with the moniker "BritPop" but were without doubt part of a fizzing music scene at the time.It makes me very happy just listening to this stuff, and I don't care if it is fashionable or not to listen to them. You don't have to buy the album. One note prompted by other reviews: these are studio recordings, excepting the last track on disc 2. That does not bother me in the slightest. However if you want a set of live recordings from the show, you are out of luck.

Five Stars
This brought back so many good memories, not just of the carnage that was TFI Friday, but of the whole Britpop, indie music scene in general. It makes me weep for the youth of today that they didn't get to experience or enjoy these times. Serves them right for being young (they probably wouldn't get it anyway so it would be wasted on them). It was the era when the UK ruled the airwaves and brother, was it cool?!?! Well done to all involved in bringing this back, not just C Evans Esq., but Will, Sean Ryder, OCS et al for so many happy memories.

Do it
Chock full of bangers, ignore the guy with the 1 star review as he was obviously not breast fed as a baby

Blast from the Past
Great album, takes me back a few years! The only thing is that it could do with is an explicit lyrics warning on the cover. There we were, sat in the car with our child when the narrative from Pulp Fiction burst out. Oh dear! I think our son learned some choice language that day!

Simple Minds, Texas & Paul Weller are on this !
It starts off great...TFI intro tune, Ocean Colour Scene, Reef.....Be prepared to be using the skip button a lot tho..some good tracks mixed in with a lot of stuff that I feel really doesn’t belong here like those very serious 80s bands on it like Simple Minds, Texas, Paul Weller..... If you are looking for a wild mid 90s Britrock celebration bash on CD, some of it is here..yes.. but c’mon.Simple Minds, Texas & Paul Weller from the 80s....really ?? Not even one track from Echobelly, Terrorvision or Elastica. Would’ve been better if they’d just given more tracks from the bands than fill it out with very serious 80s stuff and other stuff that doesn’t belong on it.

Good listen for an hour or two
I bought this after watching the TFI Friday special on TV.It has some great 90's songs on and is a good compilation album if you don't have any of the tracks.I've waited years to get some of these on one album and it's definitely a good listen.

Great selection of 90s music!
I'd hoped some of songs on this would have been the live versions featured on the show, so was slightly disappointed, but a good compilation of music, even if I did own most of the tracks already
