The bags smelled very moldy when I got them. I did a gently cycle in the wash as handwashing didn't get the smell out. And the threads came loose, causing me to have to cut the excess off.

Compared to others, these are much thicker and well made. The draw sting works well too.

I got these bags to use for shoes when I am traveling. They work very well, and depending on what kind of shoes you are using in them, you can get two pairs of shoes in each bag if you want. I like that I was able to put each pair of shoes in a separate bag. I received the x-large bags and was able to put my heavier boots in one of the bags. I like that you can also hang them off the side of your suitcase if you run out of room inside the case. This is just one way you can use these bags. There are numerous ways you can put them to good use around your home. I have put aside a few of these bags for next Christmas, because they are cotton, I am going to use them to give loaves of bread for gifts in them.

These bags need to be washed before use. They smell like a dank basement. They are thin and sturdy, but they do shrink a little in the wash. They also have a lot of strings hanging off of them after washing.

My potatoes keep sprouting in my pantry because the store only sells them in clear plastic bags now. Between the light and the lack of air, they either sprout or go soft before I’m ready to use them. So I’ve been looking for some muslin bags to provide a dark but breathable place for them to hang out. These bags are perfect for that. I stuck my potatoes in one bag and my onions in the other. Now I just need to figure out what to do with the other eight bags!These bags came in a vacuum sealed bag (always fun!) so they were pretty wrinkled when I got them. I machine washed and dried them, then ironed them. I’m not normally so extra about my potato bags but they were oh so wrinkly! I took my measurements after all that, so take them with a grain of salt, but they actually measured 14” x 15” rather than the 14” x 17” in the product description. That doesn’t really matter for my purposes, but it might be important to note if you need them to be a certain size.The material is a thick, sturdy cotton and there were no rips, tears, or any other defects that I could find. They held up to laundering and I’m able to lift 5 pounds of potatoes by the string handle with no issues. Overall, these are great bags that are of high quality and should last a good while.

i had to go through and sew the seams around the sinch because it was sewing so poorly and the extra strings everywhere was crazy! thought it was a good deal but not for the two that came decently put together and the other 8 I had to fix SMH

I prewashed these so that I could paint them. The came out a knotted mess...all torn unable and unsalvageable .
