I saw dozens of adds for the expensive Instagram add popular version of this but decided to check Amazon for an alternative first. Rolled the dice and honestly this thing is pretty solid. You could get 2 of them for the price of the fancy ad one and I PROMISE you 2 of these would blow away what one of those could do and I'm pretty sure this one alone is 90% as good. Doesn't look bad at all, remote works well, stays in place and does what it advertises. win win.

Awesome product, does its job, easy to install and use, keeps desk clean. Only downside is that it’s little expensive, which makes sense though :)

The best light

Pros:The light is bright and, compared to all the other lights I've purchased, is the best for taking natural photos. After comparing shots between my old lights and this one, I found that photos look better with this one alone, rather than have any other light on at all. So the light is quality. The buttons on the device don't seem to be the most responsive but it does work. It's touch so you know how that goes when you are trying to find the power button. Fortunately/unfortunately the power button lights up when the device is off. It has 3 settings for light and can be brightened and dimmed. All good there.Cons:The biggest problem I have is that the light does not swivel all the way around. This means you might get an angle that is difficult to shed light on. If you try to clamp it sideways somewhere, the base swivel won't hold the weight of the arm and light. So it gets tricky. I actually have to make many compromises since I use it mostly for product photos and it's just not built to be shedding light in certain angles after being clamped. Second con is simply that it is too expensive. I've had lights that are much cheaper and can shed light 360 degrees from almost any point it's fixed to. Also the power buttons being lit when the device is off is not something I enjoy but due to it's lack of tactile identifiers, it helps.Conclusion:Now that I know there are lights this good out there, I am glad. Unfortunately it's lack of maneuverability is a huge drawback in conjunction with it's steep price point. Honestly if it was cheaper it would have saved a star. It would have been good enough for a 5 star if I could at least swivel the light part around 180 degrees (i.e. facing the opposite direction). Without that, it makes it hard to use for product photos without having to shift my workspace around to accommodate the lack of maneuverability. On the bright side if you just want this for lighting on your zoom meetings, it will most likely be a good choice UNLESS you don't have the option to clamp it behind the edge of your desk, then you're going to have to figure it out as I did.

I was pleasantly surprised by how simple and sturdy the design of this desk light was. It is highly flexible, and the controls are simple and intuitive. It puts out a good-quality white light that can be adjusted up or down in brightness and, even when shining in one's face for a video call, is not uncomfortably glaring.

The LitONES Video Conference Light for Zoom Meetings frustrates me. It is difficult to set the light at the angle I want. It does not swivel and adjust easily. Too much time and planning are required to determine how to clamp it to the desk so the arms will move in the desired direction.The light needs to be too close to my face to be effective. Keeping the lamp out of the picture and still be effective is a challenge.

This light was easy to setup and use. The light quality was great, maybe a little too great! Just like when High-Definition TV first hit and so many newscasters were retired overnight due to the new quality picture that showed every tiny wrinkle, this light helps to show some of your flaws. Take for example, I had no clue that I had that many grey hairs on the sides of my head!
