Perfect for the producer in your life!
The stand is worth the money. It’s metal but still light and breaks down to be portable. It is incredibly easy to put together even without instructions. My fiancé uses it to prop up his MPC Live 2 and found that he could adjust the stand to fit his needs perfectly. He also uses it for his different mini keyboards and changes the size accordingly, it was a loved gift!

Fits Roland SP-404 Mk II
This product fits my Sp 404 mk2, but it is a *close* fit! To make it work, you'll have to collapse the cross bar ALL the way down to get the stand flush to edges of the sampler. If you look closely at the product photo, you'll notice that the taper of the SP-404 comes in a bit, but the whole sampler will be supported by the stand. That caveat being given, this is an excellent stand - it's economical, it's very sturdy, and it's made of quality materials. The grippy feet, grippy sides, and enough elevation at the bottom to plug in your headphone jack and quarter inch inputs make it a much better choice for the SP-404 than a simple laptop stand.

A solid and well engineered stand. The price does sting a little but “buy once, cry once” does apply here. I will likely be buying another soon

From the picture it looks like you pay for the WHOLE stand. What I received was only a metal platter to be mounted on top of an existing stand. This is a complete SCAM!
