This is NOT metallic gold
You cannot return this item so if you are expecting it to be metallic gold - do not purchase! The images imply that this will give a metallic gold sheen. But it is a flat, Matt goldish beige finish. Definitely not what I was expecting.

Awful DONT BUY
AWFUL tastes disgusting. Made all my chocolate takes bitter and awful. Even my kids thought the taste was off and they like my chocolate. NOT REFUNDABLE either. So sad. Save your money

All that doesn't glitter is NOT gold
This "gold" food coloring was pretty disappointing. It ends up being more like an antique gold color, which is brownish-gold with no shimmer, glimmer, metallic sheen to it.

Do not buy The gold! The colour is terrible
The picture on the description shows a nice shiny gold colour. The actual Color is a dull mustard yellow. Very misleading. Not impressed and DO NOT recommend. Super annoyed it’s not returnable. Waste of $15

got this because i LOVE to bake, and have always wanted to try oil based food colouring. i usually use paste, whiich work ok, but i have heard that oil works better for icings or when working with chocolate, so got this to try.love the design of the bottle, and how it has a dropper cap. usually if i buy paste i have to use a toothpick or tiny measuring spoon to scoop out the paste, and then put it in whatever i am using. this way i can simply drip the amount i want in, and i always know exactly how much i am dripping.this comes in several colours:-black-blue-cyan-forest-gold-green-navy-purple (this)-red-rose-violet-yellowone note, the manufacturer should considering putting the colour of the product so it is more easily seen on the packaging. the colour is only minutely printed on the barcode on the sticker on the bottom of the box, not on the box itself. i guess this saves money with packaging, as all the coloured bottles can be packed in the same box, but it is hard to tell which one was which when they were still in the boxes if the bottles were faced into the box.at the current price of $16 i would say it is a decent price as it should not take much at a time, and it is a decent sized bottle (60mL)will probably recommend.
