Collecting watches can be a lot of fun, but, to avoid buyer's remorse, I always "do my homework." Although I wore a 36mm "Datejust" for several years, I now much prefer designs with a Ø≥42mm in the range of $500~$1K+. I also tend to avoid "homage" brands and, of course, "replicas." However, once the Pagani Design DD40 PD1783 caught my attention (and after hours of research), I figured that it might be worth $129. After purchasing the first one (w/burgundy dial) and noticing its inherent quality, craftsmanship, and value, I ordered a second DD40 PD1783 (w/faux meteorite dial) and a third (White-1752-PO) 36mm version (which I plan to gift.) For the money, these "R*L*X" "Day-Date" homages are truly incredible; i.e., sapphire crystal, exhibition caseback, WR=100M (330Ft.), PBDF clasp, screwdown crown, and a Time Module Inc. (Seiko Hong Kong) NH-36 hacking Movement … mine have a tiny TMI stamped on their rotors and are almost COSC accurate! (NB: After sizing the bracelets, I did place a smidgen of Loctite Red on each of the bracelet screws - IF you don't do this, I strongly recommend checking the tightness of each screw at least two or three times a month!)

Pagani design makes a nice watch. Does everything a Rolex does. Love it!!!

The media could not be loaded. When I first saw this watch and its simple and yet elegant face, I was captivated. The grey coloring was nice - exquisite - but that one small detail of the green Roman numerals really caught my eye!The first thing I did was research Pagani Design, because I have never seen one of their watches before (that I know of) nor had I even heard of them. My research wasn't that deep and it seems they are legit and have been around since 2012. After I read a little about them . felt okay about the brand name. They have a lot of nice watches to choose from!When I opened the watch box, I was immediately impressed. The clarity of the watch face, protected with Sapphire Crystal, really struck me! It looked so good, with the metallic face and sage green numbers; what a nice touch! And here is the kicker - it still had a protective sticker over the face!! It still looked awesome! I just watched the second hand travel around the face for a couple of minutes just mesmerized by its movement. I turned her over and the backside was clear, displaying the guts and mechanics of the automatic watch. That is such a nice feature - to watch the inner workings of the watch.The stainless steel band and clasp is nice and a sure close feel. Admittedly, it will take some getting used to as I am not a fan of this style of clasp but I like the watch enough to make it work. I guess the only thing that really rubs me the opposite way is band. While the link look is nice, it seems the band should be wider to make the face and watch more in proportion, but that is just my opinion.Overall though, I am satisfied with this Pagani Design watch and glad I ordered it. I would most likely recommend Pagani to my friends and relatives and rate this watch five stars!

I was pleasantly surprised to see that this was a movement watch with a clear back showing the inner workings which is beautifully crafted. The size is perfect for my wrist and its elegant without being too out there. Packaging was on par with major brands and professionally designed. I have worn this at many events and gotten great compliments on it! Great watch that's stylish!

Other than a couple issues with the bracelet, this watch is great. Seiko movement and Sapphire glass for this price! Amazing!
