True to size and comfortable knee socks
These are actually good knee socks. Detailed review, based on one wearing:I bought these socks specifically to protect my legs in the woods while playing disc golf. In the heat and humidity of summer when I wear shorts and golf skirts to play the sport, there are health risks to my lower legs: getting scratched by thorns, brambles, and branches; being bitten by deer ticks carrying Lyme Disease; poison ivy, oak, and sumac; cockleburs and stinging nettles. These things are everywhere in wooded areas of the Midwest and it's impossible to avoid them entirely (shank a throw, and you're hunting for your disc in deep bush).I chose white socks so that ticks would be easy to see. They also match my white athletic shoes, so the color choice does look intentional, and white is a neutral that goes with everything. A girl has to look good while playing this sport! It's an advantage... Maybe the boys will be distracted by how cute I look and not play as well as they otherwise would have. Hey, man... If these socks help me win by distracting other players, then all the better! As for quality and comfort, they exceeded my expectations. The length of the foot area was true to size: I have a size 11 narrow foot. I'm a tall woman, so clothes and shoes are often tricky and don't fit well. I bought the size 9-11 sock, which was surprisingly perfect for me. The toe area was roomy and at first, I was dubious if the socks would bunch in my shoes. But I wore these socks with shorts all day yesterday - at work, doing yard work, grocery shopping and cooking dinner, and they were comfortable for the full day without making me feel too hot. The fabric is thin compared to the acrylic cable socks I wear in winter. The top band of these socks stretched over my calf without binding, and the length was a surprise- tall enough to actually reach my knees; I have long legs and often women's tall knee socks don't actually reach my knee but end somewhere in the middle of my calf. The only negatives about these socks are: they are quite soft, so anything in the woods that wants to grab at my legs is going to stick to my socks. I'll be picking cockleburs off them like crazy. Also the white is going to show dirt and our heavy clay soil causes staining, so I may have to do some extra soaking if these socks get muddy.Ultimately ... Would I buy these again? Based on one wearing, yes. I might update this review if any problems arise; and if I continue to like them, I may update the review if I love them and purchase other colors.

Long “Sought After” Perfect “Trouser/Dress” Socks
I am so thrilled! Yes, quite honestly, I wish my father was alive to see if there was a men’s equivalent. It might be the larger size… (and down 2 sizes, if for women a women’s 8 is a men’s 6). I do not rave about “socks” though, I am extremely into finding the best “product” and making it last as long as possible. I love that I have found items, meant to last Lifetimes! (These socks will survive a long time, not “lifetime “.)The blend is this: 81% Combed Cotton, 17% Nylon, 2% Elastane, LATEX FREE. I am allergic to latex, and the only other thing I could wish was that it was Organic Supima cotton. Supima Cotton is softer, has less shrinkage and is lasting.. With the latex allergy, it is common and nice to have Elastane or Spandex. As for the height, the socks go up to my near knee. If I walk a long duration for work or otherwise, the socks do fall down every so often.I just washed my first pair worn and they will not pill or fall apart as the synthetics. Furthermore, Bamboo/Rayon/Modal seems to degrade quickly after washing on cool and air drying! The true Black is not a Charcoal, but a strong Black (specifically Brown Black not cool Blue Black) for dress/trouser necessities. I used to pay a bit more for a brand well known, and it seems a “rock and hard place”. The synthetic Nylon w/ Spandex looks so refined and upscale classy w/ trousers. The downfall, is that synthetics given their short fiber strands, often will pill pretty quickly. The Cotton are more matte, thicker, nearly a casual sock. For my 5’6 frame, the knee high almost reaches my knee, but falls down throughout the day.Other than this, I am a tough judge of Socks. Why? Who knows, but I feel they complete an attire with the necessary shoes. I am very pleased with these socks, and will assure that they hold up, (and occasionally, I pull them up from my knees) aftter several hours or a long walk.I do not invest in “disposables fashion” There are too many landfills and the aftermath of such disposable trends/fashion/clothing of various sizes. My wish, is simply, that one tries these socks first! If you have large calves or longer “chins” that these Socks do not reach your knees… they do hold up w/ a subtle pull every few hours in the day. I wish they were a bit longer w/‘more spandex or Elastine in order to hold socks up, per necessary for dress socks. As mentioned, Supima Cotton and Organic would have me seriously dip them in Gold! (JUST KIDDING!). The socks, with those two qualities would outsell all others! Last word, I have tried, these are, by far, the best! (At least, for now.)

Great socks
These are the best socks ever! I’ve been looking for this type of sock and could find any that were well made…until these. I have purchased three pairs and will continue buying more until I have all the colors I want.

good
Soft and size is right. Got them as in CT the ticks are crazy and the high white socks let you see the darn things.

Boot socks
What they used to wear boots and they work perfectly do not slouch down while walking

Not the soft, combed cotton, I had hoped for, but…
These are not nearly as soft as I had expected. Had I felt them in the store, I would not have bought them. After the fact, I read that they are 18% nylon and have to say, they feel more like nylon than cotton. On the positive side, I think these will stay in place which is nice, and they are a perfect, knee-high length in Great colors and price, also. There is no seam on the toe, as advertised, although a steam has never bothered me. Lastly, these feel more like a light to midweight sock, versus a midweight. But I guess that’s subjective.
