I recently installed the LED Deck Lights Kit for my dock, and I am extremely impressed with their performance. It's a challenge to find reliable, and attractive LED lighting for residential piers. These have performed well since July, 2019. They are plug and play, and relatively easy to install using a Bosch Daredevil Auger bit. I used a smaller regular bit to create a small channel at the bottom of the 1" hole for the wires to be routed in/out of the hole (see photo). I also purchased enough extra cables, tees and L's I needed to make connections. These are very bright late at night, but can also be dimmed using the remote or wifi app. Just set them up the way you want (color, brightness, pattern, etc.) and they hold the setting even if they are unplugged or you lose power. I leave them on white, and at full brightness. They do a great job lighting up the dock, and even providing a nice glowing effect on the side of our boat. I mounted these about 4 inches above the deck boards so they're not blinding unless you look right into them. We have the power supply plugged into an outdoor rated photoelectric cell and timer I bought at my local hardware store. In this manner they come on at dusk, and turn off after 6 hours.We're not using the wifi or the app features. We use the handheld remote control. I installed the the receiver in a direct line of sight from where I keep the remote. It works from a much longer distance than I would have ever expected.NOTE: They way I had to install the LED's in this application means visiting boaters wrapping their dock lines around the bottom of the piling could potentially pinch and eventually chafe the LED cables which are routed as in the photo. So the only downside is guests should not use the pilings to tie up. I installed cleats higher on the pilings for boaters to use. A better working solution to prevent chafing the LED wires would be to install some sort of conduit/loom to protect the wiring, or use a router to create a channel to recess them into the piling.

The media could not be loaded.  So I was VERY skeptical... I am rebuilding a 1200 square food deck and going all out with Trex and lighting. With the cost of Trex I figure that I’d try to save elsewhere. I think I scored! I bought 3 sets of 20 RGBW (the W stands for warm white). That is the first thing I learned. I wanted the fun color LED lights for the kids, but definitely wanted normal warm white mood lighting for “non-pool party nights”.I am planning to add post lights as well. Although I can’t yet speak to these installed, I’m sure I’ll be happy. Knowing that the cost for comparable lights by Trex or decor are $20-$30 per light, I’m happy buying an additional set to keep on hand should a light or two fail. these are LED low voltage lights and have a life of 50,000 hours (that 11 years if they are in 12hrs a day).I love that you can set up these lights to an app to control via phone. Via the app you can do the following:1) updates color schematic2) sync lights to music by either allowing microphone access from your phone or iPad OR by clicking on music already downloaded on your phone.3) set groupings of different lights so you can change colors for different light sets, etc...4) set standards that you like “quick colors”5) set themes for color changing and strobing and more..I am probably the farthest from being a techie. These are plug and play. I am so impressed with the ease of setting up overall. Can’t say it was a 10 minute set-up but that is probably “used error” in my end. So impressed!For those on the fence, I am very please with the quality and these certainly appear to be an excellent product!!! This is my first review that I’ve written on AMAZON and have been a prime member since probably inception. Was so excited and did so much research to save money where I could that I wanted to share for those who may be technically challenged like me! Save your money on Trex lights... buy these!

I got two sets of these, a 20pcs RGBW WiFi and a 30pcs RGBW WiFi for my walkway. So far I've only had it for a couple of months and it has been able to withstand rain and heat, which is good. I live in South Western Ontario and it has survived the heat wave. I have it installed in my stone walkway and have no issues so far. I'm just hoping it will last a while and the wires don't get eaten away over time due to friction with the stone and the base under the stones. So far I have received a lot of compliments about it and it looks great! I am hoping it will last the winter as well so I can have the green and red lights alternate.I did have an issue at one point where half of the 30pcs warm white colour didn't work, but then it fixed itself somehow and strangely all the other colours were working just fine during the same time.NOTE: It of course only connects with 2.4Ghz, but also make sure you also have WPA2 enabled on your router. It will not connect with WPA3 or WPA2/3.

Great lights decking looks awesome

Perfect for ambiance lighting and quite easy to install and connect to wifi. Used them a few months without issues. Contacted fustomer service fo questions on sw and they were quick to respond.

One item was wrong (5 pins instead of 4), the seller corrected the order and shipped me a replacement. The lights are very nice but the pins that holds them in place keep falling off.

installed a set of the lights on my front porch steps. They were working fine until they didn't. Contacted the seller and they immediately worked out the issue and sent a new part to make the lights work again. It's been a number of months now and the lights are working flawlessly. I was also apprehensive because our Canadian winters can be very cold 10 to 15 degrees in the minus range yet the light again work flawlessly! I wouldhave no hesitation to purchase again from them.
