The RIE Manual for Parents and Professionals Unknown Binding

This book has so much interesting information in it regarding childcare.

The book includes work by people using the method, so it isn't as good as it should be. But not bad. RIE is a good approach for infants and toddlers, so we highly recommend it. HOWEVER, you must be careful to remove plastic and other toxic items before you let your kids handle stuff. The author acts as if endocrine-disruptor plastics do not exist, which is a big oversight as much of the work has been included since the author's passing. Check Tamara Rubin for lead in household items before letting your kid handle stuff.
