Physical Therapy
My husband who is almost 83 and given a death sentence almost 3 years ago from Parkinson's, Alzheimers and double brain injuries (bleeding) from a full body fall in April 2009 is mastering all of your Lite Brites with no help from me. He has had numerous strokes affecting his left arm and hand also. He is now able to pick out the right color peg with his left hand, transfer and place it with the right and removes all of them with his left hand. None of his doctors believe he can really do this until they see it. He also does cardboard puzzles with 40 pieces with no help and completes a map of the US by placing the states where they belong on a magnetic board. I work with him every day for at least an hour and he is now able to walk with a walker with no help. His doctors predicted he would be bed bound long ago. I give your peg toy credit for keeping his brain functioning at near full capacity. He picks up the "states" when I turn them over so he recognizing them from the shape. As you can see we have ordered hundreds of pegs and lots of basic forms and it is his favorite physical therapy. THANKS SO MUCH FOR KEEPING THEM AROUND SO WE CAN ORDER EVEN MORE. Patsy Simes

Bought for my niece as she loves animals and lite-bright. Dark enough and simple patterns she plays with them a lot. The paper holds up well for reuse if cautious when taking pegs out.
