Be careful using this scanner
If you thought this was going to be an easy way to diagnose your car, you may want to reconsider. While this thing connected to my car and I was able to get a clear reading on it, its functionality is entirely dependent on the app's functionality. I'd hate for someone to spend their hard-earned money on this device only to have the developers pull the plug on the support leaving you with a a useless piece of metal.Because the user interface is so difficult to navigate, it further dampens my trust in this thing being future-proof. While I'm willing to tinker and figure out how to find my way around the app, I am by no means a mechanic, and I would think twice before overriding any warning notifications for concern of disabling something I shouldn't. If you're not a mechanic or professional used to the janky OBD2, then be careful with this thing. While it's possible the interface improves over time, the opposite is just as probable. Otherwise, it works.

Decent basic scanner
The app interface is is not perfect on the most recent iphone update, but basic scanning function works. It may run more smoothly on earlier IOS versions.

Easy to set up
And even easier to use. Take the wonder out and having to go to an auto store for a diagnostic.

Too much trouble
And I don’t trust the app. If you want something simple to know what is going on with your car, this is not it. I do not have the patience or tecb savvy to figure this out.

Useful but be careful
This is your standard OBD2 scanner with caveats. I've used other OBD2 scanners before, and this one has a more robust hardware case (all metal) than most, but is linked to a software app that leaves much to be desired, the NexzDAS app. All the functionality of the OBD2 scanner is accessed through the NexzDAS app, which is not very intuitive to use, and requires cycling through regions of the world where the car companies originate, not necessarily where it was built (e.g. - Lexus is only found under "Asia", even if your car was made and purchased in North America. Linking to your car via Bluetooth is similarly a little non-intuitive, requiring one to look around a little within the app to figure out how to run the tests (there's not a large green "test" button or anything else obvious employed). All of this could be forgiven if it didn't have any major downsides, which it does. I used this app/scanner to see that my Lexus TPMS system had error codes on it, and it offers the feature to reset them to clear a TPMS warning light on the dashboard. In order to clear the codes, it communicates with your ECU, and must overwrite or delete some data to remove warning codes. This process essentially made my car a powerless hunk of metal for several hours until I could troubleshoot on the Internet how to solve the problem (requires detaching the leads on your battery, connecting the positive and negative leads, then reconnecting the battery). This process took me hours to figure out, and had me in a panic that I had destroyed my ECU. For reading ECU data, I would say this works reasonably well and did find the issue with my TPMS (which I am pretty sure is just dead TPMS sensors in two of my tires), but I would recommend against using it to reset any warning lights or any other features which might overwrite warnings, as I don't believe they've put the work into the software to ensure it doesn't mess anything up. It also isn't a very good app (2.6 rating on Apple), which isn't intuitive to use. I will never plug this into my car again given my experience, but it did ultimately clear the TPMS warning light :-).

Works good. Poor app
This OBD2 scanner has a sturdy metal casing, suggesting durability. It features only two indicator lights: one for power and another for Bluetooth connectivity. To utilize its full functionality, you need to use the NexzDAS app. The package includes a QR code and passcode for app pairing, but I encountered an issue where the app couldn't register the device automatically via the QR code, necessitating manual entry of the passcode for pairing.Navigating the app can be challenging due to its lack of intuitiveness. Initial setup requires downloading data specific to your car's brand and inputting detailed vehicle model information. While there's an automatic vehicle identification feature, it worked properly on only one of the cars I tested; manual entry was necessary for the other.Once connected, the scanner effectively reads data from various modules of your car's ECU. I successfully used it to identify and clear a check engine light issue in one vehicle.Overall, this OBD2 scanner stands out from cheaper alternatives. With improvements to the app for a more user-friendly experience, it could become a must-have tool for anyone with a vehicle.

Not Worth It
This was too difficult to set up and it isn't worth the trouble trying to set it up. I wanted something simple and easy, however, this is not it.
