Just like all others they absorb and dampen outside noise. These are thick and work well.

true to its typical format, these come with adhesive sides to stick on walls for a permanent install, or if you're like me, invest in some double-sided nano tape atop the adhesive liner for an easy trouble free install and take down that is very renter friendly. design looks nice, and given the different polygons, you could cut along what are effectively score lines and make your own shapes as well as use the panels as is for a design of your choice. the acoustic panel efficacy is a combination of material/density and volume -- how many panels for your wall, and not just one wall. things add up quickly. and technically also the ceiling, too, depending on how well-covered you'd like to go. long story short, this is a nice starter pack to see if you like the motif before investing in more panels. there are alternative designs including standalone wood and felt panels which i also love, but at far greater coin. so for the features, a full standard 5 stars from me.

The installation process for this product is incredibly easy. Begin by cleaning your wall with alcohol. Next, place all the tiles on the floor and decide on a pattern first. It's important to keep in mind that there is a design element to this product.Now, let's talk about sound absorption. I have a commercial electric panel behind my unit, so there is a constant noise coming from it. I checked with my sound meter, but there was no reduction in noise even after using 18 panels.As a matter of fact, these 18 panels only covered 1/4 area of the wall, so it's possible that the entire area needs to be covered to be effective for my intention. Unfortunately, I cannot install the panels inside the electric panel room.It's important to remember that sound is like water, and unless you seal all places, the sound will escape from all places. Even though the panels didn't absorb sounds from behind the wall, completing wall coverage could provide the desired result. This time, I didn't get better results.

I've increased my use of our home office by a significant amount in the past year. I ordered these panels because the office is between the two main bedrooms of the house and I wanted to both block out the noise of the kids playing on the other side of one wall and muffle the sound of my web meetings.Since installing these panels and rug pad under my rug the sound absorption going in and out the room is amazing. I can barely hear the kids anymore and my family says all they hear from the office is a murmur.

I ordered three different models of soundproof acoustic panels as Amazon VINE item. These panels are the set in the middle. They are not thicker than the rest. The package has 18 panels while the other two have 12 each. I don't have any experience with them and don't know whether a panel is a good one or not. My intention was to compare them and select the best. As it turned out, all three models performed the same. They are of the same thickness and all of the noticeably reduced sound intensity. They dampen the sound. I was not able to test them on a low bass sound, but more ordinary including instrument practice is definitively noticeably dampened. I compared them to ordinary items such as corrugated board from packing boxes and a thick curtain. None of them were even close to these panels. So, they definitively do the job. As all three models appear to perform the same I am giving each 5 stars (keep in mind that I am not an expert and this is my first time dealing with them).My advice is to select panels based on the price, shape you need rectangular or hexagonal (they are easy to cut but still better if they come in a desired shape) and the color. These particular panels are reasonably priced.

They help with sound but not the best. Installation was annoying and they are not easy to cut to fit where it’s needed. They aren’t bad to look at and soft to touch but could definitely be thicker for soundproofing

As a teen and young man, my son played the drums. He was really good, being chosen to tour the USA with an Army band of eight, touring Army posts. They even performed at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, TN. Fast forward to now and my son and I live together as I have cancer and he cares for me. He decided he wanted to take up his drums once again, and that thrilled me. I loved hearing him play! He, however, doesn't want to bother me so he wanted these Topnaca 18 Pack Soundproof Wall Panels, 12''×12''×0.4'' Self-Adhesive Sound Proof Panels to place around his door and the wall opening onto the hall by his room. It is upstairs, so it isn't that close to my ''ears".I really wouldn't mind the drumming and while these panels don't make the wall soundproof, they do lessen the sound quite a bit. I can barely hear him now and I would love to hear him play full volume!! The panels are attractive and thin but very dense. I haven't seen them installed as I can't go up the stairs, but I saw them when they arrived. He said they were easy to install as he used the adhesive strips on them. When he needed to trim them, they were easy to cut with an exacto knife. Now, I hear faint drumming, but sometimes I have him leave the door open so I can hear it better. I do recommend these panels as they do their job very well!!
