Exceptional value for money
Every now and again an item comes along that leads me to wonder how any profit is being made. This is one of them. At time of writing, these coloured pencils were just shy of 18 pence each and on top of that they are actually quite good. Each pencil is labelled with its unique colour name and they come in a plastic carry case. The case isn't anything to write home about, it's not very practical and it's just plastic but, I can't imagine anyone buying these for the case, the pencils themselves are already great value without it, so even if it's not so good, it is just added value. The pencils have good colour saturation and are soft enough for shading and blending. I have not had any issues sharpening them. They also come in a really nice colourful box, which, in an age where seemingly every item is increasingly being packaged in non-descript brown boxes, is a breath of fresh air. If you need a huge variety of colour for a budget price then these might well be what you are looking for.

A very comprehensive pencil set for adults
There’s a great mix of pencils, pens and other art items in this set. The most important question of course is “are they any good?” The short answer is yes.All the pencils sharpened well, were easy to use and didn’t break when pressed hard on paper. The pencils have their colour names (or hardness) printed on them and are bright. There’s a good range of colours too.The pens work well too - the black marker, gold, silver and white gel pens and the water brush pen.The accessories - again do what they’re supposed to do, no issues with any of them.I like the flower colouring book and the mixed media sketchbook, the lion painting tutorial leaflet is the only item I won’t be using, the instructions are not clear and it’s not my ‘cup of tea’ anyway. The case is good quality and has a carry handle, the zip works well. The set would be a great gift for anyone who enjoys drawing and it is incredible value. It’s not clear in the description or photos but there is a small retractable art knife included - something to bear in mind when gifting to someone.

Pencils feel nice but container is not the best.
The pencils come with a cover showing the preview of colours provided, but that turns out to only be a sleeve that is removed. Once removed you get a carry case that is ok, but there are 4 trays inside in which your pencils sit. You cannot remove 1 tray at a time just to get the select colour you want to have a scribble with. You have to remove all of them. They are sort of interlocked inside the case and so what seems like a compact carry case turns out to require lots of space because you end up with 4 trays out as well as the carry case AND the colour preview sleeve. Then you have the joys of trying to cram the trays back in.The pencils themselves are great and feel fine. The colour variety is nice and provides nice shading. You can quite easily blend the colours together. Sharpen with no problems. But i highly recommend getting a very large pencil container instead of using the carry case provided.

Much better than the price might suggest
To be honest, with such a huge set of coloured pencils, I wasn't expecting great quality, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Granted, they're not a match for the most premium pencils on the market, but at 20p per pencil, that would be an unreasonable expectation. What you do get are pencils with good pigment that transfers well to paper. They are pretty soft in application and blend well - much better than most standard, unbranded coloured pencils you'd likely pick up on the high street. For the price, I can't fault them. Are there better quality pencils out there? yes - at around 10x the price!

Absolute bargain
This is a bargain, for what you get.I'm no artist, but my daughter is and she claims, that she has spent, double if not treble on artist coloured pencils like these, and she has also stated that if anything these pencils actually feel better quality than the much more costly and so called premium type.In this pack of 120 coloured pencils, you practically get every colour that you will ever really need, to do any type of picture, whether is a drawing/colouring/shading, of a living portrait or a landscape of buildings or countryside.I'm so happy over the quality of these colouring pencils, that I'll be definitely buying from this seller again.Easily a 5 out of 5 stars, for superior quality and price , and I'd happily recommend this to any artist, beginner or professional standard.

Beautiful colours, well-made
These pencils all have a strong and vibrant pigment, and the range of colours is great for a variety of art projects. I'm surprised they're being offered so cheaply without compromising on quality - these are some of the best pencils I've tried and they're a fraction of the cost of similar brands.
